There’s a lot of demons and monsters that devour people. It doesn’t make them vampires. Jedah wants to take over the demon realm from Morrigan’s dad not feast on people. Blade won’t involve himself with demon affairs.
by association we class them as such. yes demons and monster devour people but by what means do they do that? if they use blood we classify or associate them with vampires. in this case jedah, who is a demon and uses his blood for attacks among other things, is seen as a vampire. and vampires and demons have long been seen as one and the same.
edit: but yea. depends on how you view them.
Jedah using his own blood as weapons doesn’t make him a vampire. Such a power isn’t even a traditional vampire power. He isn’t shown needing blood for sustenance.

He’s straight up not a vampire. The game itself classifies the characters and he’s listed as a demon. This is on top of sharing no characteristics of a vampire.

Have you seen him in a game or official artwork chomping on people’s necks or the like? What vampire you know can morph himself into a puddle of blood, use it to create buzzsaws and scythes? According to information I looked up, his power overall becomes weak when he’s in the human world. Sunlight is suppose to kill vampires. Having weaken powers would be the least of his worries if he were a vampire.
The guy is more akin to a Shinigami more than anything else.
