Deadpool to Jedah: “You remind me of Death, only a bit more … anime.”
Also a bit more male, though I don’t think that’ll stop Wade from trying to get it on.
Let’s go with this. How would she play? The cheap option is ‘Storm clone’, but I imagine we can do better than that?
The only Nina limited to wind is BOF4 Nina.
I see her like Strange. Flight but no air dash. Her base moveset could be lv1 and some lv2 magic, and when she activates her install super (shaman stuff), she would get endgame spells, and maybe more air mobility/fly cancels. One super would be Mina flying across the screen.

Sure, but can you elaborate more on what “like Strange” would be like? I’d like to hear more.
Good

Zoner with some air movement, with some Dormammu screen control sprinkled too.
If Starlord doesn’t make DLC I’d be pissed like. I just want to see what they could do with him, plus he’s the main character in GotG. I’m pretty sure Marvel wouldn’t leave him out. Obviously not on the base roster but fingers crossed he makes DLC.
Psyloke will be Magneto is part of magneto special move haha.
CYBER AKUMA, MECH ZANGIEF and DEVILOT with mini SUPER 8. Need to appear as Ultron Sigma Henchmen

Could this be some reassurance? Does anyone know how old or relevant the relationship between Nova and Star Lord is?
So Johnny Blaze is returning in a team-up comic and it doesn’t look like Robbie is going to be a part of Marvel Legacy. I take this as more support for Blaze to be the Rider again in Infinite and that makes me happy.

Its a damn shame they have never used Blade.
So, characters still remaining to be seen from the Ryce leak (list is uneven because Ultron was revealed without a partner):
[] Nemesis
[] Firebrand
[] Hunter
[] Jedah
[] Spider Man
[] Gamora

Ant-Man
Characters from the file leak (returnees in bold, strong chance of being ported for a launch roster of 32):
[] Ghost Rider
[] Dormammu
[] Haggar
[] Frank West
[] Venom
[] Death
[] Winter Soldier
[] Dahren Mohran

Grandmaster
I know people are sold on the whole 28 characters thing, but the file leak makes me think we’re getting 32 at launch. I could almost see Dormammu being in the story thanks to Strange, but the other 3 aren’t tied to any franchises with a playable character so far. In terms of gameplay, all 3 help fill voids that no one else in the leaked roster can. We don’t have any Capcom grapplers in the style of Haggar/Zangief from previous titles. We don’t have any level up characters, at least unless Hunter has some type of level up mechanic. No character really plays with hitboxes in the manner Ghost Rider does. Dormammu is a non-linear zoner (not built around beams/straight projectiles) in a similar vein to Blackheart. These 4 would add a lot to the gameplay diversity of the roster while remaining fairly cheap to implement.
Capcom knows full well that people aren’t happy with the 28 character roster. The leak sources have been given only partial information before, so those 4 may have been left out because they’re late reveals that don’t take many development resources.
I’m betting on 34. Plus the 6 dlc, and we have 40 by the end of the year and it lines up with the 20 variant covers.

Take Dahren Mohran off that list. It’s a giant sand dragon monster the size of a cruise ship. There’s no way it’s playable.

Whens Rashid reveal?
Something I’ve seen in several of the sketchier leaks was the idea of an “X-Men vs Street Fighter” DLC season. Specifically, as early as Season 2 once Marvel’s licensing department gets off Capcom’s back. If Capcom can do this, they absolutely should in order to drum up hype for X-Men returning to the series. Some quick thoughts on both sides, and what characters could make it in for such an event.
Street Fighter
[details=Spoiler]So, they already have Akuma and C.Viper to work with from MvC3. Not sure if they would update Akuma to his SFV design, but it’s something they could do to make him less of a Ryu clone. Viper isn’t really a big name in the Street Fighter series, but she does have a unique playstyle that would add something to the game. Of course, even if Capcom takes the laziest route possible, I’d still expect at least 6 characters for the season when all’s said and done, so they’d have to do at least one new Street Fighter character, possibly more. Some choices are as follows:
[] M.Bison: Would add some major villain power to the game, and there’s a lot of design space for Capcom to explore with him. Would he be more like the SF2 version, with Psycho Crusher as a special move? Maybe the Alpha/MvC2 version, where he had several projectiles? Or, they could base him off of his SFV hybrid iteration, where he has a lot of projectile attacks to complement his brawling playstyle.
[] Zangief: If Haggar isn’t in, then Zangief would be a very obvious pick. Hell, even if Haggar’s in, they could put in Zangief but make him different; bring back the Mech-Zangief install from MvC1! You’d have people losing their shit at the chance to play a Haggar/Zangief tag team in a fighting game for the first time.
[] Nash: Nash would be a good chance to cross-promote with SFV, and Capcom could go a bit crazy with his moves list for this game. After all, zombie-Nash started life as a secret character in MSHvSF named Shadow! He wouldn’t be hamstrung by “normal guy syndrome” like he was in MvC2.
[] Rashid: Another standout design from SFV, Rashid’s wind abilities could be expanded upon for a Marvel game with ease. Imagine the insanity of his V-Trigger as a super, or managing your super jump trajectory with his tornadoes.
[] Cammy: Someone that people might not associate with the MvC games, but let me explain. You know that Shadowloo Cammy sprite from Alpha and MvC2? That started as part of the X-Men vs Street Fighter roster! She’s among the more popular Street Fighters, so there’s a good foundation already laid out to sell her as DLC.
[] Juri: Juri’s been requested off and on for the MvC games since her debut in SSF4. Part of the appeal comes from the idea of playing as a completely unrestricted version of the character, who is implied in her own series to be extremely powerful. She has some tools that could be interesting in a versus title, such as her stored projectile and over-the-top kick moves.

X-Men
[details=Spoiler]With the X-Men, we have a little more to work with. MvC3 featured Magneto, Wolverine, Storm, Phoenix, Sentinel, and X-23. Given that Magneto and Wolverine are immensely popular among the fans and major players in the X-Men comics, I’d say that they’re getting in no matter what. As for the other 1-2 X-Men for this pack, I could see one of Storm/Phoenix and/or one of the following:
[] Cyclops: Kind of strange how the so-called leader of the X-Men sat out of MvC3. His gameplay as a beam-shoto is kind of dry, but I imagine Capcom could make him stand out. Would love to see him on a team with Wolverine or Phoenix.
[] Psylocke: She’s among the more niche requests, namely because of her prominent role in early games such as COTA, MSH, the early Street Fighter crossovers, and of course her assist in MvC2. Pretty much a raw fanservice pick, but that’s not a bad thing.

Gambit: He has a special place in the versus games because of his appearance in MvC1. Also, isn’t there a Gambit movie coming up or something? Would be a good time to promote the character.
