Doesn’t Thor have a hcb for his command grab? If so, I think Penance Stare will be the same motion. And I wonder if Capcom will give us a kick sweep for cr. HK or not.

Morrigan --> Juri
Nathan Spencer --> Edward Falcon
Arthur --> Captain Commando
Include:

Asura
**Nina **from Breath of Fire
Darkstalkers character(s): **Donovan **and one villain either **Demitri, Jedah, Lord Raptor, Bishamon **or **Jon Talbain **(technically not a villain but definitely too complex to be part of the roster of “heroes”)
A new **monster **from Resident Evil series (not Nemesis)
Could use some:
Gene
Jin
Another strong Street Fighter male character presence like **Guile, Bison, Gill **or Urien. Or **Kurow **from Project Justice (ok, that’s weird)
One of the **four heroes **from Red Earth

From Marvel I would have changed:
Gamora --> **Wasp, Ms. Marvel **or Medusa
Nova --> Star-Lord
Hawkeye --> Quicksilver, or if they don’t want to include mutants, any other Marvel speedster (oh, wait, they suck)
Shouln’t be absent from the roster:

Spider-Man, Deadpool, Wolverine
**Ant-Man **(if Wasp is not there)
Either **Green Goblin **or Silver Surfer

Holy shit, Magegg. Your roster… makes sense for the most part and is likable!

Which is precisely why we can’t have it.

Which is a shame, I would have totally gone for most of your picks. I think the only ones I’d dispute are Arthur (CapCom deserves to be in, but it should be in someone else’s slot as Arthur is a big part of the company’s early history) and that’s… really about it. All the others basically fit well.

In the case for alternative speedters if they can’t use Quicksilver, Speed Demon honestly wouldn’t be a bad choice. He was a Thunderbolt and he was enjoyable in the “Superior Foes of Spider-Man” book.

But the ideal would be Quicksilver and there are other Spider-Man villains that should get in, like Green Goblin as Magegg mentioned.

Speed Demon would be a fun pick, classic Capcom pick of some random C-list villain. Pretty sad we didn’t get atleast one of those on the launch roster.
