Ryce’s so called leak list makes the roster look very safely played (Marvel’s side is MCU all the way) and heavily recycled from UMVC3.
It also screams “rushjob” to me 
It’s obvious that they need more time for new animations making the likes of Sigma dlc.
I’m kinda suprised Nemesis is on that list (although I welcome him) and I don’t mind having Jedah.
Looking at this base roster and knowning Capcom, lots of popular UMvC3 characters will be recycled as DLC for them to make more money.
I mean X without Zero, Dante without Vergil, no Wesker… Lots of people will buy DLC for that…
Not to mention rumored X-Men characters like Wolverine and Magneto.
Even though I like both Brock and Flash, I’d bet money it’s Brock. He’s got the big heralded return to comics and is going to be the star of Venomverse, Tom Hardy’s playing him in the movie, it seems that is who’s gonna be the host in the new animated series coming soon, he’s the most recognizable Venom and Capcom utilized him back in the heyday.

DJ doesn’t care because he got his characters lol. I’d be in the same boat if the starting roster had Anakaris, Amaterasu, Viewtiful Joe, and so on.
