Of the F4, Reed is the leader and has a lot of cool options for normals. Sue would most likely have a projectile assist and/or a barrier (think MvC3 Wright). Johnny would be flame attacks, and Ben would just be some kind of armored attack. We could even get a Captain Commando type super!
The Marvel Universe is huge. In comparison, the Capcom gallery is peanuts compared to all the Marvel selection of characters. And I’m talking about the Fantastic Four and Marvel right now, not Street Fighter.
My comparison with Triborg was explained in my post. Different characters under the same character model in a single square. (Triborg)
And if the reason for not putting the Fantastic Four on a game is that they want to put all of them at the same time or none at all and the character select space usage, then my idea stands.
Choose the 4 icon, opens a sub menu and another screen with the 4 members. Completely doable.
Nah, they are too good for an ensemble character like Captain Commando.
The Thing is the easiest. He is a brawler and specializes in boxing, so do a template for like a Balrog/Birdie hybrid with Thing and go from there.
Human Torch has flight, fire beams, flame trap setups (like Vergil’s Sword Spiral rotations) and his trademark ultimate move, the Supernova. I think that memory issues aside, he is also pretty easy to do.
Mr. Fantastic has his classic one on one fight with Namor as a template. Just add his trademark Ultimate Nullifier to his moveset and presto.
Invisible Woman is by far the hardest. Besides the obvious turning invisible, she can create battering rams, force field bubble barrages, encapsule traps, slides and platforms for her movement including air movement and extensions of her fists and even weapons like her bo staff, all from her force field constructs. She is OP as she is the most powerful member of the group and Capcom could go wild being creative with her.
Besides, like I always say…like Chun-Li is to Capcom (the first fighting game lady) so is Susan for Marvel. Is a fucking huge crime that the First Lady of Marvel still hasn’t made it to one of these games yet. She should have been in from the start.
She’s not the “First Lady of Marvel” though, especially if we are counting all the WW2/Timely era heroes. Which they do since Cap counts. And Patsy Walker, which also came before the F4.
But Sue is a great idea. She’d be a great fighter all on her own.
Hellcat came to the official Marvel Comics later than Susan. Thus, the First Lady of Marvel stands. Also, comic book sites recognize her as Marvel’s first superheroine. I don’t know why you bring this forward since I think this is common knowledge.
And agreed on the Thing part. The reasoning is weak.
Yes, he is a big body type but he fights nothing like the Hulk. We all know he is weaker than Hulk too but that shouldn’t be an impediment for bringing him in. And like I said, he’s a brawler, kinda like Birdie (command grabs, street tactics) but a little more refined than him.
The Thing is ok in my book. He’s always been a fun character.
So, Sigmatron will probably be the final boss, and Thanos will be the Marvel main villain to be after the stones. What Capcom villain could rival Thanos? Not on a power scale level, but a big baddy who will always try to get stronger to conquer stuff. Bison comes to mind, but fuck Street Fighters on my Mahvel
Honestly, I believe Sigmatron will be the sub boss, and the final boss will be Thanos or a Capcom villain with the gauntlet depending on your point character, like on SFxT. Or if the gauntlet works by just giving all of the stones abilities, a boss could be any character with it.
