hey I just noticed that you are gonna host this, and just wondering if there’s gonna be a shitload of people and if I should cancel our Purdue fight night and we should go. Also not sure if everyone’s over 21 @ our scene (actually im sure some arent), I saw you talking about wristbands, you still planning on doing that? Thanks and what ur doing sounds cool.
Its totally an all ages event TONIOZ. I have been neglecting the Purdue seen because I felt like you guys wouldn’t be willing to travel. but I think That if you were willing to travel, Muncie could serve as and even more centralized location, than Indy, for the Indiana fighting game scene.
Please do come over to Muncie on any Sunday that we have these bar fights.
We have seen no more than 14 ppl during any given gathering, but they have been progressive none the less.
The venue that I have secured could easily hold 100 ppl, so feel free to transfer your gathering to our location. The more ppl we have to fight, the better we will become, individually.

looks like the new venue is going to serve our need just fine.
I believe we should have our next gathering should take place on the Sunday after Super releases.
good games to everyone tha came, too many to mention… HaHa
It’s pretty spacious and the infinite wisdom was worth the drive alone except I didn’t drive but I if I did I would have an infinite wisdom. Alright so we need to post that we’ll have the qualifers on that Sunday 16th instead of Saturday. I don’t know what peoples plans are on Sunday but we’ll need to hold the qualifer around 2PM.
we were gonna go but we had a long session the night before, and had actually planned who was driving, but when I realized it was a 2.5 hr drive sunday morning, and some people wanted to be back by 7 pm then we realized it wasn’t worth it… (I thought it was a 1hr maybe 1.5hr drive lol).
cool qualifiers are sunday the 16th at the new bar venue?.. sweet
yo paul are you doing another fight night this sunday as well?
cant this weekend but I could on the 9th
PU2010 SSF4 Qualifers 5/16/2010
Qualifiers will be held at the Heorot in Munice this Sunday at 3PM for the PU2010 5v5 team. RR format will be used best 2/3 matches per matchup.
hey thanks for posting Mario. I’ve been slacking on it, just been working alot.
looking forward to seeing everyone. if anyone needs directions just give me a ring at 765-716-5990
bring your systems controllers and monitors/crts I probably should have posted a check list of what monitors and systems we need. but if everyone brings there own stick, and if we have about 1 system and one monitor for every 3 people, we should be good.
Cool, I’ll be there with a PS3 plus SSF4 but no monitor. Hopefully we get atleast 3 setups going. We should be be fine with 3 but the more the better. Also looking forward to having an Infinite Wisdom.
i’ll bring a setup with a 360 and SSF4…
Looking forward to seeing so many folks come out and try to qualify this weekend. You guys missed a really good practice session tonight at abe’s. I know everybody found it beneficial. I am just being totally honest and calling it now… I will be shocked if fort Wayne doesn’t take home all 5 spots for the team. We have so many solid quality players (reaping all kinds of characters) that will be there. I think there will be like 7 of us coming all with good reason to think we can qualify. The rest of you Hoosiers betta step up yer game!
So far 2 are riding with me up there. Greg who are driving to Muncie with?
looking like just me and Bank… i know i should’ve been going to these sessions… we’ll see if my skills payoff regardless… yo Brent who’s all coming from Ft. Wayne?.. you and Gary i’m sure… maybe josh?..since it’s gonna be Round Robin style and we’re looking at about 16 players vying for a spot… statistics say that Ft. Wayne won’t likely take all 6 spots… i know i’m hungry for one…
Must have been some practice session there, Brent.
There should be 7 of us coming. Yeah it was really good practice last night for sure. I tried all the characters I needed to and it eventually came down to Vega and Cody but without enough Cody experience I will plan to stick with Vega unless something changes tonight. Can’t wait to see what happens on Sunday!
Greg - yo it’s only 5 spots, unless you are counting in an alternate spot. I guess I wasn’t really thinking about alternates.
sorry im so unresponsive as of late. I’ve been busy… plus my computer got rained on, so I have very limited access to the internet. Im glad to see that alot of people are planning to make it.
As I have said before, plz bring at least one system or screen per three people, if your rolling in a group.
I dont have much time here so, I’ll see you all tomorrow at the Heorot on the 2nd floor.
the address and more details are on the first post
Is the thing in Muncie just for the qualifier or will there also be some casuals? My car is minus a tire so I don’t know if I’ll be able to make it either way.
