Hi, I would like to find out how the ranking system works in MP, ie how do you go up a rank and is it possible to lose a rank. I have tried looking for the information in the site and even in the game manual but its very vague.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Well there’s Player Points (PP) and Battle Points (BP).
PP is earned by winning matches and can be lost when losing (obviously). It’s based on the Player skill so if someone has a high PP means that they’re a high skill. Also beating the higher PP people nets you with more PP while the lower skilled gives you less PP and it works the same way when people beat you. Basically higher the PP means you’re higher in the leaderboards.
BP is based on the character you use. This is how you can rank up your character to D,Cs and whatever. You can’t lose BP until you reach a C rank with a character and I don’t think it’s possible to get demoted a rank.

You actually can get demoted If your BP drops below the requirement of the previous rank (i.e your BP dropping below 2500 while at a B rank will demote you from B to C+).
I wasn’t sure about that but yeah thanks for that.
