theres some sort of problem…the game isnt recognizing my gamepad…i think i downloaded from the first link…will it be different if i try the 2nd one…any possible solution??

well it was nice of him to put together a preset version of mugen for people. i say people get off his back. if you dont have something nice to say, go fall down the stairs and leave him be. there is no reason to bitch at some one.
that being said you cannot expect many compliments for this game because you didnt really do much…
try working with people to make your own game, modifying things on your own and such… like Drive of Honor Fighters 2 o.o they made all characters have 6 buttons even kof characters. made everyone have sf3 style pary. ggx style super block, sf3 style overhead, and more. everyone had unniversal moves. everyone had 6 specials [each different with a different attack button]
make the characters “balanced” or at least as much as you can. make it indepth n.n
i know its not at all easy to do something like that but it would be worth it no? have people help you. put effort into it and you’ll earn plenty of compliments

What you dont understand is that he didnt do anything but steal. None of this stuff is unavailable. This shit is mad easy to find. He took this stuff, deleted things that pointed to this NOT Being his, and takes credit for it. This little fucker didnt make MUGEN, or any characters in it. Period.
I did mess with the AI in each character a little this time, I did quite a bit of editing to try and get everything perfect. I’m learning eventually I’ll be ripping and coding myself but right now I’m learning. My next game I’m going to try and edit the sprites and such.

Jesus, Shade. This is the internet. When he puts his characters onto the internet, when he puts his game onto the internet, it’s there for everyone. It’s there for people to dissect, copy and use. The RM community has the same thing. People will make a game, they’ll make some sprites/music/chipsets or they’ll rip them from another game. IF THEY WANT TO KEEP IT TO THEMSELVES, they won’t put it on the internet. They’ll send it to their friends, they’ll keep it within a small group of people, but they won’t put it out there for everyone to dissect.
The fighting game community has excelled this way, and people like Dube Alex, Deekman and Spiraledge become people known throughout their community, and spriters put their names on a sheet, which may or may not get spread throughout the net, making them semi-immortalized in that. Right now, there are many different RPG Makers that people all use, and their community is thriving, and people are working together, sharing work and making good games.
Mugen didn’t do this, and you can only blame the people at the beginning who tried to keep their work to themself and complained when other people used something they released to the world, pretty much dooming everything from the start. They deserve credit for their work, yes. But they don’t deserve to tantrum like they have.

Sad thing is, you are NOT informed. Do you know what goes into making a character? Do you really, honestly know? You cant simply knock it off, as a terrible, horribly done Megaman sprite edit (LMFAO, how dare you compare to that). All of those guys cant do sprites ANYWAY, but thats a story for another day.
Its takes time, hardwork, and MAJOR boring text coding, to make these things work. They dont have anything to work with, they start from scatch. In most cases, these arent simple conversions, as alot of original content goes into these characters (new moves, special effects, etc). Characters arent made in a day. Thats the point I’m making. They do all this, for EVERYONES benefit, and the LEAST they ask for, is for you to have the decency not to take their hard work, DELETE files with their names on it (I mean, why delete it, if its not a big deal? mmm hmmm, SUSPECT), and pass it around, and CLAIM that you did it. What kind of fucked up shit is that? Why are THEY bad because someone stole their shit? They didnt ask you to bend over, just dont steal their shit. Stop fucking STEALING. Goddamn. The hell man, since when is STEALING right, and honesty wrong? GFTO.
Hell, you could put some shit together, and privately disribute it among all your little high school buddies, and we would never know about it, but then you jump on a major forum, and claim all that shit for yourself, and we have to just sit back, and watch you circlejerk each other like he did it?
