RanBats will now be happening SATURDAYS at 7pm sharp. Season will continue bi-weekly for a total of 4 Events. Also, payouts will go to top 5 ranked.

Participate in a series of singles tournaments held bi-weekly, and acquire ranking points to find out where you stand against all of Montreal! Prove your skills for all to see.
Round 1 begins at 7pm!
Structure:
$20 buy-in for the whole season tourney pot. Once you buy in, you can then enter any of that seasons rounds with no additional cost. 1 RanBat season will usually be about 4-6 rounds, at the end of which there will usually be a major.
At the end of the season, there will be a playoff, God’s Garden Style with the top 5 players facing off in a series of Race-to-3 battles (Grand Final would be Race-to-5 Battle.
The top 5 ranked payout is based on the playoff results.
Ranbat top matches will be recorded and commentated for online presentation. Keep track of your ranking points on the Facebook page, and check the latest updates on MTLSF.com and SRK’s Montreal thread for the results of each round.
There promises to be some fierce competition, get hungry MTL.
All MTLSF HQ Founders and Monthly members of said month will not have to pay Venue Fee … Everyone else has to pay their 5$ at the door as they walk in.

It’s the same as last time we chatted. I ended up keeping the scheme identical to what you put together, the distro worked out well on previous results - the only modification I went with tightening up the bonus points for top 4. So basically just take your scheme and make the bonus distribution 5,3,2 and 1.

I duno how you use the pointing system but needs to be fixed so that Byes don’t actually give points out … but wtv that’s just my opinion …
