Msh vs sf

Well said :]

Agreed.

No, my comment wasn’t “troll intended”, I was just answering RoGE9’s question. There’s a good reason nobody worthy a damn plays this game.

Good luck trying to get people interested on learning this though.

Hey everyone. Now this is a interesting thread. I’ve got a lot to say so.

Akita- thanks for linking my videos.
Tech- Hey how’s it going?
Mad- How’s it going too?

As for all the other statements made here on this threads. I could lean both ways and agree with the opinions of those who love this and those who dislike it.

I think we all just need to remember, these are opinions (and possibly facts.) of people’s views of the game.

If anyone still plays this on GGPO. I might be willing to record it.

looking for a tier list on this game.

this game is just awkward to me. The Marvel side of the cast i prefer to play them in MSH, and the backgrounds are pretty much recycloed from XvSF, and both of those are games id rather play over MSHvSF.

This game may actually be playable if you ban Wolverine. Still a bit more boring in comparison to mvc1/xvssf due to many options missing here that exist in those games, but I had a bit of fun with it years ago. This was my only option in a few college game rooms and arcades because for some reason, they only had this instead of other Marvel games. Never really made much sense to me why that was since the other two games were always more popular…

I’ll give it a shot again locally since I got the CPS2 board really cheap.

JuNo: opinions from others may differ but from memory and IMO it went like this:

S: Wolverine
A: Omega Red, Spider Man, Armored Spider Man
B: Hulk, Shuma Gorath, Captain America/US Agent, Blackheart/alt. Blackheart, Ryu, Cyclops, Chun Li

No idea or opinion on exactly how the rest of the roster ranks. I remember regular Sakura being particularly bad, Akuma was decent (and fun to play), same with Dan. I also remember that there are certain specific team combination and assist setups that were really powerful that shifted rankings. There were some good setups and traps that can be exploited in this game. It’s not really like any other Marvel game out, that’s for sure. It almost plays like a hybrid Street Fighter game.
