Those combos are not easy to do in MSH vs SF it has the most timing then any vs game.MSH vs. SF is a very technical game,And landing cyclops relaunches or in general mvc2 looking combos is hard on timing.Same goes for dark sakura 's relaunches.Omega red has an ironman type combo but it’s strict also.There is however quite alot going with msh vs sf just people don’t think outside the box.They just think 2 or 3 characters.I feel Msh vs SF is an underated game cause some don’t understand the mechanics.
Really love MSHvsSF, it’s my favorite in the Vs. series. If anyone wants to hit me up on 2DF my name is robjarvis, mostly a Ken/Dan player (yes, seriously).
Does anyone know if BH has any worthwhile combos or setups? So far I can’t seem to get anything on the ground after a c.short c.strong. No ways to combo into specials or supers alone, c.short to launcher seems inconsistent, can’t find a good air combo, I just do jab short strong, fall a little and pressure with fierce or chip with JD. Inferno makes me want to cry.
I’m just used to MvC2 BH more where he has more solo combos and options. Most of what I’ve been doing is just basic demon zoning with fierce, air dashes, some sj.short and strong, chip with JD, ground pressure with c.short and s.short, and sometimes AA with inferno. It just seems like he doesn’t have much outside of his good control of the air. I’m also wondering if Mephisto is different in any way. Playing him so far seems exactly the same as BH, just with a different color.
Can anyone help me? I am trying to do an air combo with cyclops that has him bring the opponent close enough to the ground for a relaunch with S.MP. I have tried the following variations, but i do not know what I am doing wrong.

@RoGE9 Its not as popular as MVC or XVSF because it doesn’t have a wide variety of characters that allow infinites and what not. I.E. in XVSF, there’s Magneto and Storm, and in MVC, there’s War Machine, Wolverine, and Strider. A lot of people tend downplay this game because it has a certain “balance” that the other two don’t have and it’s limited. Don’t get me wrong though, this game CAN be broken, if you watched those YT vids I posted above you would’ve saw that I did multiple combos that aren’t possible in the other two games. But if you want to know anything else in regards to this game, just ask away and I’ll post what I can…

There are things which can trigger this in the mentality of such “nooblets”, it could be:
a. He tried learning the game and couldn’t succeed because of his inferior scrub mentality or
b. He got owned nasty because he was just mashing buttons** or**

Yeah, I don’t have a problem with the game. You can throw out these preschool insults all you want, it doesn’t change the fact you can’t convince the other versus fans they think the game is boring as hell.
Never said anyone shouldn’t play the game but your reasoning is just laughable. Done with this guy. If the game is so great then why are people playing MvC1, XMvSF and MvC2 more than it? Hell, even MSH gets more play if you include the South Americans.
EDIT: Want to clarify I don’t think XMvSF or MvC1 are better than MSHvSF, but my point being obviously the majority of players found the changes and other aspects of the game to be off putting and choose to go back to an older revision (XM) or go with the new one (MvC). But you almost never hear people talk about playing MSHvSF.
To be honest he’s partially right, this thread WAS created with the intention of “recruiting” more players to starting up MSHVSF not about how much it sucks… I’ve already mentioned why people play MvC1/2, XVSF, and MSH, because in MSHVSF you can’t abuse infinities and it has a certain “balance” to it that other games don’t have… Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but damn…
I don’t have a beef with that (I think the game is ok) and didn’t even say don’t play it or it sucks. My point was it was dumb reasoning of Doom to insult someone just because they don’t like the game.
What I don’t like about the game is: Dumb character rooster (I really don’t like most of these people, and too many shotos), supers were nerfed a bit too much and damage in general nerfed so matches can take sometimes take awhile. A lot of missing options for characters, Top tier is kinda lame in some ways, extra characters are very lazy, game in general just seems very rushed.
I like how they were trying to make it more balanced (I don’t like broken games) but they still didn’t quite get it right and also ended up making it seem pretty dry in the process.
