So when do you guys throw the head in a match. During the middle of a combo, at the beginning of the match/when she just comes in, or do you just leave the head on.
Tips on linking from HP to QCF+HP? I seem to be dropping a lot of combos here…
Don’t input the moves until after the HP hits. LIke…wait a very VERY split second after it hits before doing it…if that makes any sense. Make sure the QCF motion is quick and clean as well.
Atm my Fortune BnB is as follows (I’m sure there are better ones, haven’t read the whole thread):
(any air starter), cr.LP, st.MK, st.HK, j.MK, air dash, j.MK, j,QCB MK, cr.LK otg (before the blue bounce), st.HK, j.MP, j.MK, j.QCB MK, QCB KK Super
Just found a neat little trick for crossing up with fortune Hp.
If you just instant air dash Hp can cross up, but if you super jump instant air dash she will actually turn around and face the opponent when she crosses up and it’s almost as fast as the normal instant air dash.
Not sure if this is know yet or not, but I thought it was pretty neat

I feel so dumb for not realizing this before…
I have been having tons of fun with Fortune. If you just bounce around and keep your defenses up, the impending NOMNOMNOMNOM is a metaphorical shadow that looms over the opponent in a more scary fashion than Peacock’s item drop’s literal shadow.
Also Fiber Upper (H) is proving to be a phenomenal assist. I may try out QCBH in the future though, but the anti-air it provides right now makes me not want to switch.

So…in the event you go for an air throw reset or just normal air throw in the corner with the head right below you, you can do a restand combo with Airthrow>6H>falling j.K>land>MK.
I’ve gotten the dummy (Parasoul) to land back in the corner…but haven’t done it again. You can maybe do falling j.K>air dash back>j.K>land shit, but I’m not very good.
Someone better should do something with this. (assuming this actually works, I don’t think it’s techable…but the screen is a bit high up for me to tell. I’m pretty sure it isn’t.)

What do you guys use as her assist? I’ve been using cr.HK, but I’m looking for more options.

This character has a ridiculous amount of situation specific things, holy shit.
I’m going to have to try this out, it should make cross-ups with HP much easier. With a lot of characters you had to have really perfect timing.
Can anyone give me tips for comboing into the bite? I spent hours working on a cool corner combo where I combo her air super into the bite to continue it, but it was totally random when I could get the bite to combo. It worked a couple times, but almost always it would be too late and whif or come out as a head-but or slide instead.

Thats as far as I got. You can launch with cr.HP too but for some reason I can land it better with HK.
