They mentioned an Ashley Madison hack in this show before the hack happened in real life.
Ashley Madison had been hacked long before the names were released. The hackers had been threatening to release the lists for quite some time now.

Shit is getting interesting for Season 2.
Solid finale. I’m done with the show though. I understand leaning away from a csi cyber format of nonsense, but most of this was predictable from the start. Its been a predictable 10 episodes, with less and less hacking since the first episode.
So now what, the deeper plan unveils itself, that now he will help E corp build itself back up from the ashes, but better, and then tyler will come back with revenge, and blah blah blah. It turned from a hacking show, to more of a drama pretty quickly.
I dont remember what i said previously in this thread, but i remember venting about, well, we already know the end game, so now we’re just going to watch them fumble around through it. I dont mind the serious tone, and what not, but quite frankly, more creative use of everyday hacking wouldve been fun.
This show is just gonna turn out to be a house of lies for me. You get caught up in it in the first like 6 episodes, and then you realize its just another typical, and boring drama, that will have moments here and there to bring you back, but not much worth giving a shit about in the long run.
Consider me unimpressed, and out.
The show wouldve been better for the first season, seeing him pull everyone together, and then finally drop the bomb on season 10, of what they intended to do. At least we wouldve gotten more hacking and character development. Theyll likely spend a lot of season 2 doing a history lesson for all the fsociety members, and im not sure if i give a shit anymore. I’m pretty sure i dont. Oh well.
