Okay Eliot…think you told a little TOO much truth.
Tyrell is losing it.
Really? What was the first give away? The whole strangling a woman to death?
that scene with elliot and his therapist made me sad because i pretty much felt the same way he did
Spoiler
it also gave me a chub when he mentioned how he knows she watches anal
He’s been unstable. But there is huge difference between throwing a temper tantrum or being a freak, and killing a bitch on your companies roof.
So yes, he’s losing it completely
I thought Eliott and the therapist were going to bang right there. With all those insane confessions I think the bar was reset between them.
Oh and Tyrell went straight to American Psycho territory pretty quick. I figured it would take some bigger for him to go bonkers.
Yeah, there’s a question that must be answered. Does she like to watch, or does she like to partake?
In this ep they were interacting with Slater’s character directly. It’s also interesting that all 3 of them are losing it at the same time.

*This episode was all about the characters breaking points.
Elliots
Tyrells
"Mr Robot"'s
Angelas
Terry Colby’s
New CFO’s wifes neck (the director loves sight gags)
Tyrell has never been someone who was truly dominant. He is the type of person who has wanted to look like he was in control, because of pride and keeping face. However, once we seen the scene of him interacting with his wife for the first time we found out that he didn’t have nearly the amount of power that we thought he had. Particularly due to Elliots narration during Tyrells introduction to the story.
Also, the cinematography is top fucking notch. This episode had a lot of great shots. For instance in the final scene when Elliot first goes into the docs office the camera makes it seem like there was a large distance between him and the doc by using a long shot of the doc standing behind her desk. Then we get a two-shot just as Elliot tells the shrink how much he knew about her. Bloody brilliant.
Okay, it’s official, this bitch outcrazies Tyrell by a mile. She’s just a LOT more subtle about it.
EDIT: And there’s the proof…and it goes a LOT deeper than the initial twist.
Damn, these twist in the story is OD. i see the seasons are gonna be short. with only 2 eps left.
YOOOOOOOOOOO
I had a feeling that Mr.robot was much more then what meets the (viewers) eye, but I wasn’t expecting that shit!
and down the rabbit hole we go…
@DarkGeneral speaking of good cinematography, the close-up camera showing Tyrell’s paranoia and mental unraveling as he was making it to the office was very well done.
Mr. Robot finally revealed.
Tyrell’s wife is at least a ride or die psychopath, shades of Alice Morgan.
glad it wasn’t what everyone wants it to be, ‘we need more action (like the walking dead! breaking bad! [slowassmuthfuckin hundred episode shows BTW] i want to see those things in this show exactly the same!) its just like Fight Club, they aren’t even trying to hide it anymore!!’
guess what it was
[details=Spoiler]Star Wars,

Now I’m going to have to ask how did White shadow catch on so early with that RockB not-spoiler tagged-hidden post on the first page, like did you look it up online? Go back or catch all the family tells that quickly? you knew definitively without showing your work, I don’t want to be the last to know, but put it aside to just watch the show to see how they are going to do it / handle it and play it out.
Still kinda weird Chris Slater there was damn near invisible as they roll the map out and are apprehensive to start Steel Mountain, just like walking around everyone eating his popcorn like the child watching things unfold, as Elliot is so sure and headlining the project, now; Even only being the Rookie into the thing, brand new - newest team member having to lead and figure things out, today.
He is so inner monologue, explaining the process - even after letting us in as the 4th wall was just broken - when he was ahead of allsafe knowing the distraction is going to happen that he planned, he didn’t even come up with any excuse like: ‘I saw that and I wanted to get a jump on them/shut down the feed/see how far deep they are into our servers/see if it was true/hack them back as they are live’
and is kinda giving in to not having his job there anymore, he doesn’t deserve it, no longer beneficial to him - and kinda glossed over who was spying on him thru the company, right into the 4th wall time skip, omitting that for now, unless it was just the Angela plugging them in part before work started, that he didn’t know about, nothing to worry about with the 50 hour timeframe started anyway
(was the chinese lady “white lotus” = B.D.Wong, lol)
I can’t wait for all the women in refrigerators whining that will happen now.
Happened to Kanye too though, equality

Crazy women, shoveling corpse not dirt to put the corpse
In smarter badguys, you the victim shovel your own grave.
That’s like now, when you do a really bad job, and take a long time… that’ll show em!

Inductive reasoning. The absence of his father in the flashbacks was the most telling…
To reiterate:
This episode made it intentionally clear that Christian Slater is just a figment of his imagination (and somehow sauntered into a security firm seemingly unnoticed, and later critiquing his appletini to an unmoved bartender). More specifically, he is an avatar for his late father, which is probably why they showed his mother in a flashback this ep and not his dad. Also, Mr.Robot’s mom has an olive complexion, giving a free pass for a more Caucasoid appearance for his dad.
His dad is the “big reveal”.
Then there is also his discussion with his dad at the pier where he’s “pushed” off, expressing his feelings of guilt and betrayal. The sister reveal was a welcome surprise and they casted her well.
