Elliottās Mr.Robot persona really makes me want to research the finer details of schizophrenia and other forms of psychosis. I did love his rant about religion being the opiate of the masses.
Speaking of which, watching this show late at night makes me feel like Iām hallucinating. I might need to rewatch since many of the sequences are mishmashed in my head.
imo, sheās just lonely. she doesnāt have anybody. family is dead; her ex was cheating on her; Elliot is gone; nobody at the office likes her; and donāt forget the world is a more visceral place now. the only person she has to cling to is the supervillain that is actively trying to turn her into him. whatever she does with the info Price gave her against those guys will be the deciding factor on if sheās evil or not (imo)
*I donāt have the time to write a long piece, but ālonelinessā and āisolationā have been big recurring themes through the first two eps. Almost every new, and old, character is experiencing it in some form.
Gideon, Angela, Elliot, Darlene, Tyrells wife, Ray, the redhead (forgetting her AIM name atm) etc. All the characters are dealing with similar feelings and emotions and cinematography captures it sublimely. *
So far, the theory I read (possibly major spoilers) makes more sense each episode

Heās not at home with his mom; heās checked himself into a psychiatric hospital, his āmomā is just a guard who wakes him up every morning, Daryl from the Office is his psychiatrist, and the reason he eats breakfast/lunch/dinner with the same dude is because theyāre in the cafeteria, and why he watches guys play basketball is because thats all there is do it when locked up

The car guy was such an idiot, even without knowing the full situation, he shouldāve been at least smart enough to know a desperate rich woman with a bodyguard should not be trifled with.
I knew once Whiterose revealed his/her predilection for fine dresses that Domās days were numbered. I just figured Dom wouldāve been the sole target and not this wholesale slaughter. It does make sense though because then it looks less suspicious if everybody gets shot. Now the blame will be squared away to the nebulous Dark Army and only Dom I presume will be able to put the pieces together.
And Elliot canāt stay out of trouble can he, as if he didnāt have enough to worry about. Now Craig Robinson truly owns him. I wouldnāt be surprised if heās really responsible for his wifeās death.
