Don’t feel bad, I got so bored from watching these movies that I haven’t even made it through one.
P.S. Whatever Michael Bay is considered, I enjoyed ‘The Rock’, ‘Pearl Harbor’, and ‘Pain & Gain’. I had a few good laughs during ‘Bad Boys’ as well.

Judging by your post history when it comes to your likes and dislikes of movies/games I’m not surprised. You have amazingly shitty taste in things.
The irony here is that you collect name brand trash, yet I am the one accused of having shit taste.
You both have shit taste.
If anyone here has shit taste, it’s me.
#TLJisstillawesome
I embrace it tho.
Seen this this past weekend…
I honestly think The Rock is Michael Bay’s best film. That’s also one of the movies in The Criterion Collection.
Haven’t seen The Rock since I was a teenager, I remember liking it but my tastes have definitely changed since then. Not a fan of Bay’s cinematography but Pain and Gain was pretty good, it didn’t deserve so much hate IMO
‘The Rock’ probably has the best cast of all his films, but I personally like ‘Pearl Harbor’ the best for the way it captures the unexpected tragedies of war.
‘Pain and Gain’ is an interesting dark comedy with good acting, but the fact that it is an adaptation of a real life story really elevates it for me.
P.S. Only an idiot bashes another’s taste for not conforming to their own. There is nothing irredeemably terrible about anything I genuinely enjoy but feel free to prove me wrong.
It’s the eyes…I can’t get used to them.
Boo goes for the eyes.
The Intro to The Rock is definitely of its time. It has all of the Bay-isms, but they were done right. The antagonist’s motivations are clearly spelled out in a montage in less than 4 minutes.
Bay was better suited as a director for G.I. Joe than for Transformers.
After seeing the trailer for Detective Pikachu movie, her eyes doesn’t bother me anymore.
Tim Burton’s Dumbo…Official Trailer.
From Disney and visionary director Tim Burton, “Dumbo” expands on the beloved classic story where differences are celebrated, family is cherished and dreams take flight. A new trailer, images and poster are now available. The trailer features Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito, Eva Green, Finley Hobbins and Nico Parker.
Circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito) enlists former star Holt Farrier (Colin Farrell) and his children Milly (Nico Parker) and Joe (Finley Hobbins) to care for a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him a laughingstock in an already struggling circus. But when they discover that Dumbo can fly, the circus makes an incredible comeback, attracting persuasive entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton), who recruits the peculiar pachyderm for his newest, larger-than-life entertainment venture, Dreamland. Dumbo soars to new heights alongside a charming and spectacular aerial artist, Colette Marchant (Eva Green), until Holt learns that beneath its shiny veneer, Dreamland is full of dark secrets.
It looks so bad. I hate Tim Burton so much.
It was enjoyable. Especially for the 30-40 year old generation.
Why is Disney so obsessed with making live action adaptation?
Just bring back the old 2D animation that feels so much organic and alive!
