Went to see Zombieland: Double Tap, it wasn’t good. Tired jokes, copycat characters, overall nothing interesting.
Of course. Have you seen how flithy rich these countries and people are. I mean look at Kuwait (their currency is worth more than the dollar), United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, etc.

Yesterday, Joker joined my kinda-sorta prestigious 5X club. It was my 5th time seeing it in the theater. Honestly, I don’t know why I do that stuff. Around the 4th/5th time I’m actually nodding off and waking up at the parts I want to see (though I don’t mean to).
But man. When this movie was first announced, I thought “DC is desperate.” So desperate they’re going to make an origin movie about the Joker. Isn’t one of the Joker’s defining traits the fact that he doesn’t have a clear origin story? As such, I paid this movie NO mind during it’s whole pre-release run. I just knew IN MY HEART it was going to be ass. Nope. It’s one of my favorite movies this year. I honestly just can’t believe it, looking back.

Caught Parasite tonight. Loved it. Would recommend if you have a theater playing it near you.

Looks like one of those so bad it’s going to be good action thrillers.

I’m with you. Mediocre isn’t in this film’s future. It reminds me of what my thoughts of John Wick were when the trailer dropped.
I looked over to my wife and said “That movie is going to be insanely awesome or a garbage juice slushie”.
