Also, a Twilight Zone 60th Anniversary Theater event is happening mid-November. Six Episodes and a Rod Serling Special.

saw dallas buyers club. both performances of both leading actors was amazing.
couldnt tell who knocked it out the park more. matt or jared. i think jared. i aint even recognize it was him for a good 1/2 hour watching it.

As of now it doesn’t look like any of my local theaters are going to be screening JoJo Rabbit.
Which makes me incredibly sad. It looks so fucking funny.
Just saw Addams Family and Gemini Man.
Addams Family was super cute. I really liked it. There were so many little nods to the animate series, the b/w animated series and the comic strip. I’m sure I missed some but I caught a lot of them.
That said, I kinda agree with the general consensus of it should have been on a streaming service. Either as is or preferably make it a limited run series because the characters didn’t really get a chance to grow and you never really got a chance to “know” the characters due to how rapid fire the pacing was. Still really good though.
With Gemini Man it felt like it didn’t really know what it wanted to be. Did it want to be a Jason Bourne rip off? Did it want to be John Wick? Did it want to be a thriller? It was all over the place in terms of identity. A lot of the key locations in the movie reminded me of uncharted as well.
All that criticism aside, it was fine. Nothing wow’ed me but nothing was bad either.
I have about an hour before I go see Jaxi. It seems really funny. I really like Adam DeVine. So I hope it delivers.

Death To Smoochie was a hilarious black comedy that parodied the ins and outs “kid’s show” show business. It also had a great cast, which I doubt this production will have.
