Great, we got a guy from Searcy coming in (Sorry Thyallmighty; could you PM me your info so I can relay the info to him?) around 8-ish. Ish, you said you’re coming around 10 which is when Mike is coming in. Panda’s good to go around 11. Zen + Ghost should be here around 6:30 as should Blake + Lan_Di. What does everybody think of this time for Saturday meet-ups?

EDIT: Kinda a revelation, but there’s a SHIT load of variety in characters in AR. I just looked at the character list and even though we don’t have a lot of people, almost every single character is either used as a main or secondary by a player in AR.

Large tourney, I’d imagine. We could use it as a qualifier also, I suppose.
The top 4 from this tournament will advance to the 8 man tourney. The top 4 in the NEXT tournament will also advance. This would make it more of a competitive tournament. If we figure out how to stream by then, we could hype it up and stream it too, haha. I think we could promote these bigger tournaments to get a bigger showing. We need to start coming up with names for our tournaments too. What could we name the 8 man tournament?

I need to find a main and stick with them, haha. I’m honestly thinking Sakura or Sagat right now. I reaaaaally like Sakuras play style!
Don’t know what we can name it. I will say that your idea may or may not work. We are for sure having a tournament next month, as well as in April. Can we have one in May? I don’t know yet since Mike and I graduate and then are heading to Europe. We might have to do an early April tourney and then a later tourney if we’re going to stick with your idea.
Also, depending on circumstances, we MIGHT have to run the tournament on Sunday. I’ll find out and let people know. For now, it’s set as Saturday.
I don’t know if I’ll be able to get mine to stream due to the nature of my tuner card, but I’ll see what I can do. Not sure if we’ll draw any interest, but we’ll see. We definitely need to promote though. Can the UCA peeps on here advertise at UCA and I’ll advertise at Hendrix?
Yeah, I took that into account. I didn’t list iTorres as a Cammy main because I just wanted to do one person per character and I couldn’t list Lan_Di if I had iTorres for both Cammy and Vega.
Also, if you’re gonna main Sakura, I’d advise perfecting her mix-ups. I’ve watched a lot of Sakura match videos and the only times she’s successful is when she’s played with her ambiguous mixups. Going for maximum damage every time is alright, but she already has a hard time getting in and she doesn’t have that much health so it’s easy to lose if you just get one or two combos worth of damage.
