Just a reminder guys, for 3v3, anyone can team up with anyone, but the 5v5 you can only team up with people from your own area. I’m sure Fubar will let people from Arkansas team up with each other even if they’re not from the same city since Arkansas is a tad bit smaller from Tx. But if you feel like you got 4 from your own city you can rep with then by all means make it happen!

Out of those that HAVE cars, here are the reasons why we can’t use them:
Ghost- Too Small
Panda- No Spare Tire
Me- Combination of needing an oil change, not wanting to get caught by the Texas toll booths (which send you a ticket to your home residence, which means my parents will see it as they read my mail, which leads to a big argument about why I’m driving all over the place), and not really feeling comfortable driving a ~10 hour trip. Also, my parents don’t allow me to let anybody else drive my car. That being said, it might be possible for me to drive down to Dallas, but I’d heavily prefer not to drive down to Austin.
Deezee and Kimmie- Don’t know if they’re willing to drive down to Austin or whatever… It would be convenient if I drove down to TXK and then whoever I had with me all rode with him. Anyway that’s just a thought.
So… that’s the list. How many people can your car fit Panda? I heavily doubt we’d get a flat and you can probably make everyone pay you gas + driver’s fee.
austin is only 3 hours away from dallas

Hey AR people are you guys driving down on friday or sat? If you’re coming friday make sure to hit up wherever is hosting games that day, I’m sure adnan will fill you in. U.F.O.'s pretty cool, I think even marn is coming to this one. (he’s sort of from san antonio)

If i can get 3 folks to ride with me and contribute to gas money, I believe its doable. Im thinking prolly 30 a piece for gas if 3 people, that being round trip. I can charge the gas on my credit card, and use that money for tourney and food.

Max, u could drive down here to my crib, then we all go in mine. Thats no prob. If u think u can squeeze 4 in the back of my 4 door truck, then by all means. Its really spacious back there
EDIT: if its 4 people squeezing in with us, lower the gas money to 20 a piece.
Just so u know, it takes 50 bucks to fill up my truck, and Ill have to get gas at least twice, going and coming back.

Guys, my life just keeps getting better and better. I got a lot of money stolen that I had saved up. Not gonna be able to make the tourney. I’m gonna have to pick up shifts this weekend to make up for what was stolen… so mark me off. Not sure what allen and yusuke’s plans are now, but ill let you know.
Hey guys, this shit is only like 1 day away so let’s get our shit straight. Those who have cars need to man up. I know this comes as a bit condescending coming from me because I don’t have a car, but unless we delegate, nothing will get done. So basically, who ever has a car, please drive. I don’t mind paying more for gas guzzling cars as it will be split amongst many. Also since I have a liscence, (i can drive stick as well) I can help out with the driving. I have made the drive from Searcy - Austin before without stopping many a time.
Now since Panda is out, that leaves 11 people. If we can get 3 cars then everyone gets to go. If we can only get 2 cars then only 10 people can go. That means that 2 people need to opt out and say it might be okay if they don’t go. I know that everyone wants to go, but this is unrealistic with nobody stepping up. I am putting myself in that category, I am very exciting about getting out of Searcy for the weekend, seeing friends and stuff and playing games and was really looking forward to it, but if we cannot get 3 cars, I am okay with opting out. It really sucks and I’m sad about it, but that’s the way things might roll.
Now 2 things need to happen, who MIGHT be okay with not going and who’s willing to drive. We need to figure this shit out as we are leaving tomorrow.
I can opt out if need be.
I’m ready. Just waiting on you guys to get everything sorted out.
My plans have been crushed due to HP not filing my paperwork correctly. It appears I’m going to have to spend all day tomorrow and Saturday sorting out some issues. Good luck guys, hope you can manage the trip!
