Anybody went to the anime festival? I went out of curiosity I’m not much into it anymore but I was surprised they had a game room! Tekken 6, Brawl,SFIV, Guilty Gear, TVC, even Killer Instinct in the super nintendo lol. I got whooped BAD on TVC 
I find it hard to play in the reg wii controlers I needed a stick or gamepad lol. Played tekken by myself with my boy craig marduk cause dey only had one controller n beat this guy in SFIV easily I’m guessin he hasn’t played it much me neither but I remember a lil from past installments. I say everybody here should’ve shown up n taken over the gamin section lol
It wasn’t even his place, that’s what makes it so great! We were across the street at the Guido Party going on. It was pretty kickin’.

Everyone else who can post it on your campus, can you? Deezee says he’s willing to post it around TXK and we’re gonna try to post it around Conway.
2)** April Tournament date SET!**
Date: Saturday April 3
Time: Registration begins at noon and extends until thirty minutes before your tournament begins. Tournaments will occur in waves of two or three games about an hour apart. Equipment should be checked in by 12 if possible. If not, please let us know when you can bring equipment.
Place: Hendrix Campus. Specifics still TBD.
Venue Fee: $7.50. Due to the food, drinks, play, and location, everyone (including spectators) has to pay venue fee.
Tournament Fee (per game): $5-10 depending on the agreement of the players.
Games played: SFIV (Singles and 3v3 TEAMS), T6, SSBB, SSBM, and TvC. We will run more games IF there is sufficient interest (Blazblue, SCIV, HDR, MvC2, etc.)
Additional Info: Venue Fee includes free pizza and drinks as well as free play whenever tournaments are not going on. Pizza will be served at a set time (around 5 or 6 PM). We have talked to at least 20-30 people who have said they’re willing to come to just the SFIV part of the tournament as well as 20-30 people each willing to go to the Smash tournies. We’ll talk to the Tekken, Soul Cal, and Blazblue forums. We will get into contact with the surrounding states and will post this in the Tournament forum. We are trying to make this BIG. Tell your friends and get hype! PS: Please bring equipment.

They had ppl that do the voices in anime as guests, cosplay contest, etc. It was pretty descent imo
In regards to the tournament, I third the A.R.K. (Arkansas Regional Knockouts) idea. I also have a couple thoughts. I think we need to finalize the details of this thing and post it in the Tournaments forum ASAP. I also think it’d be a good idea to have all the games they’re going to have officially at EVO at our tournament (I know we can’t get Super SF4 yet, but we can get the rest), which would mean adding MvC2 and HD Remix to the official lineup. Also, do we want to try and stream some of the events and do we want to get some people to do running commentary when they aren’t playing? I think it’d be awesome.
So is everyone fine with A.R.K. as the name for the tourney? Other than SF4, I would probably be interested in either MVC2 (even if I have to play top tier) or HDR.
I think A.R.K. sounds good too. I like the idea of playing the games that will be played at Evo , but there may not be sufficient interest for everything. It would not be good to tie up a setup for the handful of people who want to play game X when there are 30 Smash players lining up at one TV.
Let’s try to get the name by tonight. Also we are only hosting like 8 tournies now determined by popularity. We need a minimum number of preregistrants (8) before we can guarantee a tournament. If no tourniEs reach 8 then we will do the most popular ones only. Details are still negotiable. As of right now only the 5 main games are guaranteed. Please vote and preregister. Also we need a name asap. Oh and we can’t stream or record matches this tourney because we don’t have the manpower and don’t want to be overwhelmed. Feel free to record matches and give them to me and Io can post it on the YouTube.
