how about: dont post anything without a video of it happening, so you don’t look like a complete moron everytime you make a thread topic?
You get to go from my buddy list to my ignore list.
Gwai Lo: If he was hitting the super, wouldn’t that mean he was timing his slides right?
kcxj: hey, where were you on the screen when doing your sakura stuff? It’s pretty fucked up that it would work, nd now doesn’t. Maybe you can recreate it again…
And, uh… no offense, but you sound like you’ve got a pretty big chip on your shoulder. You’ve got to roll with the punches dude. At least your one of the handful of people on SRK who actually wants to learn something.
for a guy who gave incorrect info, you sure are testy. I mean when I simply said you can reversal RC through meaty attacks in the other thread… you spazzed out at me. Anyways, I’m sure you might have had it happen once. But there are plenty of random things that I have seen happen once in a blue moon. But for most practical sense… low RH is not going to beat a move with 20 frames of invincibility… unless the move wasn’t done as a reversal… but then you usually get beat out cleanly… because you are getting hit on the first frame you get up, and most moves don’t hit on the immediate first frame to trade with the trip.
And Buk… does Ryu, Ken, and Akuma have different frame data on their normals? Like is Akuma’s cr RH faster than the other two? Cuz his cr jab to cr RH link is waaaaay more easier for me than Ken and Ryu. I was just wondering some of the basic discrepancies in frame advantage as well amongst their normals.
I believe another guy said it best when he said the only good thing to ever come out of Canada is Wayne Gretzky. And that’s ironic because hockey sucks.
heh… yo man like i said no offence, but if ur ignoring me because of that perhaps ur taking my post too hard because of all the other … hate thats going on in thsi thread…
EDIT: For Yun vs Sagat reversal DP
I believe what happens here is sagats invincibility appears to cease before sagat leaves the ground.
So a meaty yun short will not beat a reversal sagat DP, but one timed a little bit later will come out and hit sagat underneath his attacking hitbox (so he’ll hit him underneath his fist before he leaves the ground and after his invincibility runs out)
This is the only explanation I can coem up witih because I have definately seen this happen, and I believe its hard to reproduce because of the small window you have before sagat actually leaves the ground.
Hockey doesn’t suck, it’s exciting.
And so is basketball, one of the most popular sports in the US, but it was invented by a Canadian.
Yup. That seems to be a more plausible explanation than “My version of CvS2 is different from everyone else’s”.
But it doesn’t matter anyways. At least now you know about invincibilities so this thread can be closed.
Yeah, your fake quotes of stuff I said are awesome dude. It’s ok though. I hate you all anyway.
   so much hate
welcome to the world of cvs2:lol:
Well… yes and no. All of their identical looking moves (such as all of their low forwards) are exactly the same… including their low jabs and sweeps. The only exception is Ryu’s low strong gives +6, while Ken’s and Akuma’s give +4.
All of their unique moves, such as each of their standing fierces, have different frame data obviously.
Many people in this thread need to calm down. Kcxj seems to have made a mistake, and haven’t we all. SRK is a sad, sad place when you cant even discuss topics without being flamed for one mistake.
ive seen 3 threads of mistakes.
There wouldn’t be a need for 3 threads if we kept the nonsense posts out. I am pretty sure there is a glitch with bison’s slide thats just not practical to reproduce, as well as some other moves that have a ton of hitting frames. There are actually 2 mistakes, kcxj’s mistake wasn’t in the test, it was in the conclusion that it applied everywhere. The other mistake was you hitting reply. I think pryde needs some help here, this thread should be about a page shorter.
oooooooooo im hurt.
Well I have been reading this thread, and I can now say that Im completely confused. What was learned from this thread, can I get a summary of the correct info?
Perhaps by FS, Gwai , or Buktooth (repeatable sources)
Kcxj thought that maybe the invincibility on some moves be be different than we had previously thought.
He stated Sakura’s supers vs meaty Bison slide. The supers get hit sometimes. However, people tested it and found it to be false. Kcxj also tested again and found the new results, and then was hella confused.
He also spoke of Yun d.short beating Sagat’s fierce TU. Buk tried to re-create but couldn’t do it.
Other than that, kcxj and FS started bickering at each other, people started talking about THAT instead, and the thread turned to poop.
