I’m a computer programmer and I hate messing with games on the pc. I don’t really care for emulators so this will be the best way for me to play this game outside of the actual NeoGeo.

How balanced is this game?
360 is being underatted here, it has the best nete code of all the consoles so If anything this was a good move by SNK. I don’t know if it’s the start of something, but I get the feeling 360 might be the platform SNK decides to release all there games on…maybe a partnership of some kind?

Netcode is console independent if anything the PS3 has better netcode for some of it’s exclusives considering the number of players you can get into a game. For most multiplatform games however Microsoft is basically charging people for the same shitty player connect Crap that you get for free on the PS3. I may have to grit my teeth and pick up Tekken again if I want to get my 3d fighter fix since I don’t have the 360 version of VF5 and refuse to pay for Live as it is. Not to mention I would have to buy a controller for the 360 since the default pad is evil.
SF4/HD remix/VF5 are 10x’s the games in terms of connection compared to there PS3 counterparts, I couldn’t stand the constant disconnects from PSN every other match…and Tekken was just a train wreck online. SNK made a good choice going with the best net connection in the market today IMO.

i actually love playing this game on 2df with my friends (since they don’t have forwarded ports but i do =D) It’s a great game and i’d love to see it on PSN.
if not, then i’ll keep playing it on 2df, i mean, it’s free either way =D
and not to mention, i think i’ll only get KOFXII only if it isn’t $59.99. I don’t think my mind can handle an SNK title over $30
