yay for Tekken and GG, and good to see that sbx is played despite the rumors
There’s probably a few hotspots, but also keep in mind the list is only of certain arcades, and does’t 100% reflect every single arcade in Japan. ST is in SBO, so of course it’ll have play, i just think that the newer games are more played by more people than just the tourney players, cause random people see a new game and go “oh, new game, must play it!” more than they would see 3S and go “o boy 3S!”

well its an stadistic meassure, so its suposed to be accurate and its supossed to reflect the actual tendency in the arcades (of course new games atract more than old ones)

The game is also brand new; I think it’ll probably die down after a while. Personally I think the game is boring as hell and don’t expect its popularity to last that long. I’m sure the hype will die down after Tougeki.
that will be dificult, in japan the pedo… err the loli factor hited so hard that it seems that its gonna last for a long time, and the game is not so terrible, of course imo is not so great either, only average, it has its good points but the loli theme is a turn off, at least for me

You know, it’s funny you say that it’s loli themed, but a majority of the characters are like… sixteen or older and typically have huge tits. 
I think the first game less than half of the characters were actually loli.

and ah2 is actually damn good, it’s much closer to the guilty gear level of character variety which is key. compare to melty or ah1 where so much of the cast is made up of rushdown pixies.

Tekken has consistently been on top (fighting game wise) since DR came out.
Also, the big surprise is the Tekken 6 beat Gundam. Gundam is the real beast here. Expect Gundam to pull into the lead next month.
