Yes, it does seem that disconnects count against both people. Which sucks!
But besides that, this is an excellent game. I played about 30 games online (usually getting my ass handed to me) and it runs superbly–it really plays well online. I am very impressed. I guess I should learn some stuff besides combos -_-
Definitely the best game to buy if you want to try a fighting game online.
I wish GGXX#R played this well online, but oh well I can still play that offline…anyways while I think the fighting engine for the most part isn’t that good, I still have fun with this online. The people I have played have been really cool and I’ve learned a few things about this game which I both enjoy and dislike, but overall a pretty descent fighter. I don’t think I would pay $50 for this tho’, maybe when it goes down in price and I got the $ laying around.
Yes… To be honest with you i’d rather play a game that runs smooth 98% of the time but drops both players if the connection is getting faulty other than a game with 2 seconds delay… aka guilty gear
I would rather spend $50 on SvC: Chaos. MKD isn’t the worst fighting game ever but it’s not worth $50 price tag. You should rent first and then decide, I’m glad I did.
Im loving this game, but my online Kombat record is kinda shabby - 12 wins, 13 losses. But If I were to pick Baraka most of the time and take advantage of his long reach and deadly blade combos, like alot of the players on MKD online, I’d probably have a better ratio. My list of top tiers from the core 12 are: Baraka, Kobra, Ashrah, and Scorpion.
And about the super unlockables - Liu Kang and Raiden are the only ones right? I know Boon said in an interview that there would be more than 24 characters playable, but maybe things have changed since then.
i unlocked all but liu kang still tryin to figure gettin him… go figure that they make liu a pain in the ass to unlock i fought him he looks wicked as hell
Im str8 up drooling over all these convos about the new Mk being the best online fighter yet… Too bad i dont have Xbox live anymore since i moved to atlanta.
