I read that to get kang you need to do Konquest mode 2x? is that correct? UGH! anyway, how does it play online? And what did they do to the gameplay? Is there more of an old school MK feeling this time? Guess I’ll just have to rent it.
Dream already told me this game runs better than cvs2 online. That’s enough to convince me to get it.

Johnny Cage is not playable. The lag on this is better than any fighting game, and the multiple modes make this WAY fun. Also, I WILl be using a MIC because I am using a pad on this game, so if you are on tonight, I will be on…
i just picked up my copy today and i’m so happy that 3d games don’t lag online hehe it Blows CVS2 and GG outta the water in terms of online play
I havent played online yet. The timing for the combos is a lot more strict than DA. Im still busy trying to unlock more characters through Konquest and checking out some Endings

I played a few games and its real smooth. Konquest mode is fun if you like unlocking shit.

Doesnt matter how many characters your opponent unlocks, if you havent unlocked them, you cant use them, at least thats what the magazines say
Are the rules and gamepley in Puzzle Kombat the exact same as Super Puzzle Fighter II? I mean, is there a diamond, linkable chains, color patterns, and whatnot?
Out of 6 games I’ve lost connection twice. One of them even counted as a drop on my part?! WTF. It’s a nice change of pace from CvS2 though but I don’t see myself playing too much of it. Also, does anyone else think that the 60 second rounds are a bit too short for this game?
Edit: OK now it says I’ve dropped three times when all that happened is I got the “Unable To Connect To Host” error. So I take it you can’t differentiate normal players from dropping scrubs.
Stores are getting the Kollector’s Edition tomorrow because of a mess-up on Midway’s part. Supposively, they forgot to include the limited edition card with the game. At least, that’s what I heard. All I know is that the GameStop store I work at got the regular edition in, but not the Kollector’s Edition.
I’ll be getting the Kollector’s Edition tomorrow. I’m planning on unlocking as much stuff as possible before jumping online.

I thought the combo timing for DA was pretty damn strict already (especially the alternating stances combos). Maybe it was just the dual shock controller but pressing R1 multiple times in between juggles was hard
This game is amazing online! I have played 25 matches online and have been dropped twice. There is no lag to speak of. The AI on the game has been toned down some (which is a good thing!) My gamertag is aenima5983 on XBOX live.
right now I would say it’s the best fighting game online period… There isn’t lag from what i’ve seen and the worst case scenario is your connection drops out… I actually had someone drop on me when he died and it registered as a disconnect which is ok i guess. It’s a great game online
I heard if people get disconnected, they both get a loss. I won’t buy this game till that crap gets fixed.
It’s Like Spf but slightly different the common general ideal of chains/breaking is the same
in stead of the spiral thingy like in puzzle fighter it’s mk symbol color coded of course. and the diamonds in pf are a black ball… and as ya get break/chains etc each char have different special move it may benefit themselves or fukk your world up it’s pretty cool concept i mean it’s not a pf clone no counter gems nor char pattern so i’ve noticed
