If you’re planted or fall on your head i don’t think you can wake up kick. And yeah, this was in MK:D also, lol. After the people at MKO gave them a list of things to fix in the game, they still couldn’t get rid of free throws.
Kak would be the best way to have fun with the game. create your character and give them a few of the best moves, then take him online.
I plan to buy this game as soon as there is a price drop to $20. I haven’t played any of the MK since UMK3 and as horrible as this game sounds, it still will be fun to just fuck around with.
Hmm. I’m considering making a thread on custom video game characters in games that let you do so, cause that guile in the cancel video looks kind of cool. I haven’t made any good ones though.
If you intend to get deeper into these two fighters then I agree that KoF 2006 is better by a good margin. But when I bought 2006 I decided that I was going to play it as a casual so that I can play a fighting game with my casual friends and enjoy it because they won’t get destroyed 24/7. If you aren’t gonna take these fighters seriously then I feel that MK:A is better by a margin. Understand that there is still some stupid shit in MK:A that I can’t believe Ed Boon thought was a good idea(Kobra’s Kickboxing style being completely void of mids is one thing I can’t get around), but if played mindlessly then that doesn’t matter. Since it is obvious that SNKP intended for MI2 to be marketable as both casual and tourney worthy I made that comparison.
But just to clarify my opinion:
KoFXI >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>(about a thousand more of ">"s) MK:A >> MI2
It could also be because I want Falcoon dead but i doubt it.
A friend and I have been messing around with this and found out that if you cancel parry into a jump then you’ll do a jump straight up. Also, you can cancel a parry into a crouch block and quicky release the crouch block and you won’t even see the parry, it’ll just look like a twitch. From there we found that we could do PC crouch~PC crouch~PC crouch(a kind of wave dash). Since lows are one of the two things that beat out parry(that and projectiles), PC crouch is very valuable to higher level play. It seems that you can’t PC into specials. PC isn’t broken.
I just finished playing this game for a while, and I feel that the only good parts about this game are the Konquest and the KAF. Everything else is either really subpar or really shitty.
BTW, I will ask the most dreaded question ever asked here. What are the tiers? I mean, besides the whole Moloch=ownage stuff and the “kreate your own infinites” with the KAF.
Custom character is the best option ever in games…and I just found even more proof of it here: See, this is my “thing” here. Custom character modes will have me definitely sold on a game even if it’s just halfway decent.
I’m hearing MKA will be on the next 360 BC list update…please tell me this rumor is true…? I really don’t want to have to buy a regular Xbox again.
I just created an infinite with my ninja dude. I set it up with the wind projectile and then the infinite begins. Basically, in order to create the easiest infinites, make sure the attacks in your string are fast and recover fast. The ninja strikes (whatever they’re called) are perfect for this, as their recovery is almost instant. This basically means that about 80% of the movelist is useless because they’re unsafe and recover too slow. Take that however you wish.
