This is a Cassie Cage tutorial I’ve been working on over the last 4 weeks.
I really enjoy playing this character in MK11 and ended up making this tutorial for Cassie Cage.
This guide is based on my own experience with Cassie and the info I’ve gathered during the last 4 weeks on TYM forum Cassie section.
I hope it helps you to improve.
Thanks to TYM Cassie forum for the heads-up, thanks for playing, thanks for watching and good games @ll.
Well just in case no one has seen it yet.
Sometimes I just want NRS to just borrowed SF IP for a 3 pop-culture 90s characters in the live action SF film.
So they could have Raul Julia, JDV and Kylie Minogue as guest characters in the game along with 90s Shang Shung in MK movie.
Or simply as a parody tribute version with a different name but has the strong color palette resemblance in visuals along with the iconic moveset of the characters they played in SF the movie.
With a plot of Raul Julia being a futuristic wizard in a different parallel
And JDV and Kylie as the two inter-dimensional Cop (another JDV film like time cop or something like The One in concept) task to hunt down Raul Julia character as a futuristic parallel universe travelling wizard.
Guesting them with the Iconic film Shang Tsung is a what a time to be alive moment
Since it’s already unlikely for SF x MK.
Ernie Reyes Sr can still be the Shoto representation
I’d be down for a Mortal Kombat The Movie Vs Street Fighter The Movie crossover game
let them make dc vs marvel first,
shang trailer was nice even tho i dont think he is someone i will end up playing.
looking forward to see how the rest of the cast and guests will be handled.
Marvel isn’t going to give a DC’s parent company a license to their IP.
They did for the Lego games.
Both a KOF/Fatal Fury character (Geese) and a Street Fighter character (Gouki) are in a Tekken by Namco/Bandai…
Note how both of those characters are boss characters? Which OG boss character would fit in good in Tekken?
I’d say Shang Tsung. The Lei Wulong/Shang Tsung interaction would be good.
Regarding the Street Fighter VS Mortal Kombat game; the way to handle projectiles is the following
Some Code language/syntax lol:
IF MK char AND MK char OR MK char AND SF char THEN projectiles NOT cancel
ELSE projectiles cancel
but thats on disney now to decide and they already had some disney ip games being released by warner brothers video game division. boon even said they talked with each other so its something which actually might happen when they could come to a agreement. that frost has some irom man vibe and dvorha a spiderman win pose…i would look forward to it. not as a replacement for mvc but its own thing/expansion of the injustice series.
Let’s be real, a Marvel vs DC would be an all-time best-seller, both companies would benefit. But maybe it could be some kind of reciprocal exchange, each company getting the rights to create a couple crossover games with the characters of the other.
IDK, a man can dream
I’d love to have Deadpool in Mortal Kombat, for example, and adding some funny quips after he’s Fatality-ed
Nah, probably wouldn’t worth it.
Is NRS “lazy” with Shang Tsung?
They can make Shang Tsung of the old (MK1, MK2, MK3/UMK3) to where he can morph into anyone? They have the technology for it (not that hard nowadays).
Is it because then Shang Tsung would be overpowered???
They haven’t been to do that since the end of the cartridge era. In order for Shang Tsung to be able to morph into every character in the game. They’d have to load the entire roster into memory.
on top of that you would need to have both tournament variations available which takes even loading time to switch in the trainingsmode.
No, there’s no way an all-morphing Shang Tsung could be done nowadays in a console game.
Perhaps next-gen this won’t be an issue?
isnt this just a hdd vs ssd comparison video?
That is part of it, but from what I understand, the available interface bandwidth has been drastically improved on the next-gen console.
Here are some examples of simply switching drives to an SSD (both PS4 and Pro included):
As you can see in the table, an SSD definitely makes a difference, but not the kind of difference we can see in that video. Perhaps it will be relevant to the FGC in ways we hadn’t really thought of. Larger team battles? Return of OG Shang Tsung? Who knows? Anyway, it is food for thought.
Tomorrow is a Kombat Kast for Shang
