OK this situation is a little screwy. If I read this right, Veasna already earned his spot on Team Canada with a Round Robin win. If that’s the case, Veasna should be the one representing the Montreal spot. We have two spots for Montreal players in the Wild Card Round Robin before T6 takes place and that is where Alex (who came 2nd) and I assume Freddy (as the other best Montreal rep) should be placed. Also, where was Lars? I was under the impression he was enforcing a standard 2/3 falls double elimination tournament on the 2nd to settle this issue.
well the thing is, a lot of people wouldn’t be participating in a t6 qualifying tournament for 3s in the first place. Apart for me Veas and Alex, nobody else wanted to participate, not even Phoun nor Lars, although Tony did end up going in it anyways.
So we had the round robin tournament as to decide the issue. Veas beat everybody in the round robin , and Alex was second place with two wins (vs me and tony). Then it was decided that a 2/3 would happen beetween 2 and 1. and Alex won and is the one that will represent the Montreal spot.
I had set a date for the 3S quals but I wasn’t too sure who would be showing up so I just didn’t go and was going to decide to reschedule. They decided amongst themselves to do round robin so I thought that would be fine aslong as everybody agreed.

As much as I would like to see Fred in the team tournament, there is at least 2 other guys that deserve the spot, I still think we have to do a tournament to determine who should get the last spot.
For mvc2, there is no secret that Samnang is in for sure
On a side note, things aren’t looking too good for the Xbox 360 and PS3, sure their video cards are gonna be the best in the market, but their CPUs …

Ca a l’air que les qualifications se sont mal passer. Si ca vous tente, on a juste a le recommencer et je vais y participer. Mais Lars devrait etre la ausssi. Comme ca on sera 5 a jouer, un round robin de 5 players est moins gay que 3.
Et pour simplifier, celui qui a le plus de wins gagne et decide s’il veut etre dans le team ou non.

I think its gonna rain on canada day, thus canceling my yearly trip to the fake beach sablon. If it does rain, then no prob in qualis on the 1 st of july.
I’m working on July 1st so I won’t be able to attend, if you guys go ahead and do it then just post up the results after.
Edit: Who saw War of the Worlds? I went to Paramount last night and the movie started 30 minutes late. At the end of the movie they gave us coupons for a cash refund or another movie ticket, it was awesome because it compensated for the time they wasted and it being a shitty movie. :tup:
So it actually sucks? Good I wont waste my time on this movie then I wanna watch Fantastic Four just cuz it’s Marvel though =D
