Sorry, I wasn’t there today but I thought that not everybody from the Montreal elite would all be there. If you guys decided to run the tournament anyways that’s fine, just tell me who won.
P.S. - For the CvS2 qualifications this upcoming Saturday @ 2000+ who is going to come and who isn’t? I’m talking to the top players who are planning to attend.
Veas won the round robin, with alex falling second place: it was the decided that first and second would compete in a 2 out of 3 which alex won.

Well during the round robin I thought maybe 1 match against the top players wasn’t enough to determine the winner, so I just made a suggestion that top 2 do a set. Alex enforced what I said at the end of the round robin, vess thought he won but eventually agreed to do the set.
The whole thing was very messy, and maybe the sudden change of plan messed up veasna’s game cause he thought he won and it was over. I don’t remember the last time he lost a set to alex.

So I guess that means that if Alex beat Veas<s Chun, surely he can handle 5 of time right?
If alex can play 80% as good on those jap sticks, then he should do good against those chuns.
Toronto will do really well in the 3S team tourney cause they mastered the sticks the best. I predict a close canada victory.

The qualifier for CvS2 is at 7PM (Saturday, July 2nd at 2000+).
The MvC2 qualifier was cancelled because Samnang is attending T6 and the spot was automatically given to him, I think. Maybe get him to agree to play the winner of the qualifier for the spot or something…
i might consider coming if we do 2/3 for 100$ :tup:
