What will happen in case it will need some patching?
I’d hate to see it being abandoned like Daemon Bride.
I would like to see gameplay vids of the other three new characters (Origa, Alto, and the one on the right of Othello)
What exactly happened to Daemon Bride?
Well, Examu has held a Daemon Bride tournament recently. They said it on their blog. So it’s not completely dead yet but it’s close. I don’t know what the hell is wrong with them. The game had good gameplay and a great soundtrack but no home port or OST release? That makes me really made since I never got to play it.

No cuz Arcsys take their new baby seriously and patch it, while examu just went on to finish ah3.

I am not certain that it has been mentioned yet, but the new sprites were created using the same Dot-style as KoF XII. Except they look a little less pixelated.
On the character select screen, the one to the right of Othello is Siely. She is not new. The other new person is Ooz(something), the butterfly guy.
Ah Siely, didn’t recognize her. I thought Siely was the one above Maya and right of Rail.
And Ooz is Katze’s bro hm? Nice. Too bad the loketest didn’t show Origa and Alto’s fighting (even though we now have info on Alto).
This game looks really nice. I’ll keep my eye out for the PC/Console release of this hopefully.

finally. I thought Shok had given up when I saw him start to take commissions on FA, lol.
And even then he takes a bit longer to do commissions. My friend had one and it’s gonna take months to come out. XD

Looking at the select screen artwork, I think it’s possible that he might still have drawn those pictures. his style has gotten a lot better lately and he now uses this interesting soft gradient shading method in his CG works.
I can’t really see the screen well enough from those youtube videos to judge.
I don’t think that’s his style, though.
Either way, the animation is still a bit floaty and bland from what I can see, but the visuals are drastically improved.
I’m kind of hoping that Monster AC will soften the market up a bit for kemono-esque fighters. Seeing it getting a final release makes me all the more determined to bring my team’s doujin project to reality.
