Ok, I just came off of six month ban for posting crotch shots of Britney Spears(anyone remember that?) and I find that I can’t edit my Avatar or edit my posts. Is that due in part to the infraction I received because of it? I’m assuming I can’t play the arcade either.
You should still be able to play in the arcade…
I don’t know about the rest though.
Replying to bots flags the forum as active and may cause more of them to show up. We don’t want that.
And, to our knowledge, what we call “bots” are actually people in foreign countries (or recruited from other forums) who get paid to register and spam. There is no way to block them all.
I’m having the exact same problem (along w/ not being able to edit my user text). And I just asked for an avatar the other day soooo…

They are not allowed, reguardless if you’re premium or not.
Again, there must be something wrong with vBulletin. I can change my avatar and still edit post.
I’m starting to think otherwise. Me and Ambiguous are returning under the same circumstances and have the exact same problems (and similar avs 
).
The ban was justified (I’m speaking for myself here), but not allowing me to edit my posts isn’t going to help me follow the rules better…at all.
Yeah, I have a feeling it’s the infraction we(I’m including RaishinX) received when we got banned. Mods, care to shed some light?
To my knowledge infractions don’t do anything of the sort.
They just let other moderators know who the trouble makers are. When you reach a certain number, you get banned or temp banned. There may be limits as to how much you can do after returning from bannation, but I haven’t really seen nothing out of the ordinary.

I have issue with the same thing shatterstar posted about, I’m unsure as to why my “Top biggest breasts of 2007” was closed, when the same style of thread was posted in GD last year just fine without being moved, and then closed.
It’s quite frustrating to work on something for so long (and getting the pics all SRK safe as per the image mishmash forums rules) and then getting shut down. I mean according to the SRK rules, a third of the avatars and most of the girl threads in the IMM forums should be gone (as per skimpy clothing rules). But the worst I ever got from a mod about a avatar being skimpy is “she looks a bit young” even though it was an anime girl with huuuge gazongas!
