Unfortunately there isn’t much I can do about it. Thing is, once you see it, the damage is already done. At that point it’s a bit hard to really help you out.
In regards to avatars, as with other things, I try to be lenient. For the most part SRK is a well behaved bunch, except for the fucks that want to act superior for whatever reason. I’ll talk to Wiz and a few others to see if there is a solution to this problem but this is something that would be extremely hard to control just based on the subjectiveness of it. For instance, AdverseSolutions avatar could piss quite a few people off. The avs about Triple P biting it could also piss people off because it spoils something. Each one is irritating in its own way based on who’s looking at it.
Hey i have a problem. I am having trouble reseting my password on my account. I can still post because I am logged in at work, but I cant post from home. Basically the email I am registered under is no longer active so when I try to reset password it doesnt work. I cant change my email because it requires my password to do this. Can any of the mods help me out with this?
I would just start a new account but I have the same username on several sites and its easier to just keep one name. Thanks in advance, and let me know what I can do to help get it working again.
I just wanna apologize to the mods for my ‘triple posting’ that’s been seen recently. The truth is I don’t triple post, it’s just that I use Quick Reply & when I click ‘Post Quick Reply’ it doesn’t send me reply/post, so I click it a few times. I guess that’s why there 3 copies of one post ^_^;. I will from now on just use normal ‘Post reply’.
I know there’s a reason for the mass thread purgings, but it’s kinda spawning a problem. You can only date back to 11 pages back. The problem with this is that people, even people who usually search, are gonna start reposting stuff because they didn’t see and now there is no way to see that it’s been posted before.
Just something I noticed that could eventually become a problem.
I doubt this is even possible but after reading posts by redshuma57, I have to at least inquire. Is a grammar filter possible? Not to correct everything but have a way that every “teh” is changed to “the” or dumb shit done on purpose like “gurl” can be changed to girl". I’m not asking to correct people but to make posts readable.

Great thread! I could use some SRK tech help. How do you do multiple quotes within the same post? I see peeps who quote someone and then say something of their own and then quote something else and reply all in the same post. Is it through editing? Also, how do I add an active avatar (animated one/small movie clip)? I could only seem to post a stationary one.

To do multiple quotes in a post scroll down the thread copy what you like go back to the post look in the top right corner, the second last icon is used to quote put what you copied in between there and thats a quote, if you want to add the name of who your quoting just add =username inside the first quote bracket…so it will look like this **

To have a gif avatar you have to stay inside the file size limit if you go premium the limit is much larger.
