The way politics goes, IF it was a job interview there would not be a single person who would meet all of the criteria outlined by any and all inquisitions. I think at this point in time it is dreadfully apparent that the Federal Government has too much power in individual lives.

No. There is a great documentary called seattle is dying that expoes the SJW (aka democrat young turks sjw) agenda. free needles, no jail time for rapists, burglars, tresspassing, defecating in public, tent cities, shooting up in public, and assault as long as you are homeless, and the results are predictable. seattle is now a shit hole. last time i was back there were needles and tents right behind my moms work place in china town.
the week the docu was released a homeless scumbag tried to push a woman off a bridge and was saved by a good man. the homeless scumbag had been arrested for assault THREE TIMES prior, all against women, but the SJWs didnāt believe in jailing criminal scum if they were homeless. the same week bartells announced no more new stores in downtown cause too many violent assaults on their employees - again - the police are told by SJW scumbags to let the homeless commit crimes.
the democrats, specifically the progressive wing, have ruined seattle. it is now #2 in property crime, behind san francisco, which is also run by SJW. portland is similarly turning into a shithole. here in NJ and new york, i was shocked to see no needles. thats when i realized it was not normal to have tents and needles everywhere and shit on sidewalks and crazy people shouting at you and assaulting people. NJ and new york dont tolerate and throw your ass in jail.

I am getting ready to register as a democrat myself. Not because I believe in their message, but because my state will not allow me to vote in the primaries outside of the arbitrary party I am a member of. Since it does look like Republicans will not be putting anyone against the President, I think it is only fair for me to be able to express my voice in the democratic process.
