I finally got all the tokens tonight… also got the “Dominator” trophy recently.

I also made a new car for the slightly re-designed H.I.V. (another casket-type of course) and someone legendary I’ll mention later since I don’t have the picture for him now. (also due to the fact it still needs work)
More pictures later of course. The McDonald car (along with “Psycho Ronald” himself) came out better than I envisioned it would be…and it’s been a lot of fun to race around with that character. I’m so addicted to this… I have about 78 characters at this point, and close to 60-something karts. 
so i’m thinkin of gettin this but have a few questions…
-how bad is rubberbanding in this game?
-can you dl other users’ tracks to your hd? or is it like LBP where you just play it online.
-how’s online multiplayer?
-local splitscreen online?
The odd thing is that it seems to be just “random bullshit” on the rubberband issue. I’ll admit that the game actually seems fair most of the time. The cpu characters just happen to be downright vicious, even if you AREN’T anywhere close to 1st place…like you could be in 6th or 7th, and the bastards will STILL ram you off a bridge or hit you will several weapons at once…even though you aren’t really a threat at the time. Heh, they’re ruthless. There are certain times though when they seem to have more boost than what is normal, and slightly more top speed than what is normal. Despite the occasional apparent rule-“bending”, it’s still not outright impossible though. It’s the special challenges that will make the average player want to throw something and yell all kinds of expletives.
-you can download anything other people have made; tracks, cars and characters.
-I think split-screen is there checking the manual yep; split-screen up to 4 players.
-Online multiplayer is awesome to me. When you lose to a real person, at least you know that there wasn’t anything “questionable” about it, unlike the occasional cpu cheapness. I think this applies to nearly any type of game though. CPU opponents can bend or outright break the rules if they need to. Against human players of any game, you at least know that your opponent is bound by the same rules you are.
*sidenote—the ps3 version is SO good…it’s really the only ps3 game I play right now(it managed to tear me away from Demon’s Souls before I could even fully get into that addiction!).
There isn’t any true rubber-banding, perse. It’s just that the CPU cars have higher top speeds than the player and they drive almost flawlessly, which leaves room for very few fuckups if you want to win. They are merciless with how they use weapons. It’s like 3 racers will unleash their level 3 volleys at the SAME time. Even if you have a full boost bar, you probably will not be able to block all 3 attacks. ESPECIALLY if you’re first place.
But it’s typical CPU cheapness. Nothing new here. If you completely dominate a race and you’re like 2 laps ahead, they won’t seem to magically appear directly behind you. Their top speeds remain consistent.
Not terrible, yes, good, great.
Get it. It’s better than Blur or Split/Second IMO.

MNR is the only racing game that interests me. i don’t care about realistic cars and shit so blur and split/second is not even on my radar

I’m lovin’ this one for sure. I know it might be just a tad “much”…hopefully it won’t get banned or whatever. I’m over here racing as Barney with the severed head of a small child in his mouth I’ll save a non-tailed version as well because it’s a bit annoying to see a “tail” clipping through the vehicle and engine. There’s so much that can be done with those odds/ends pieces, I might even be able to have the child’s arm or leg hanging out of Barney’s mouth!

you bought modnationracers for $20? Since it came out a few months ago and is still considered new, it’s prices at gamestop are $60 new and $50 used. was it on sale or somethin

i haven’t created anything in this game in a while. i’ve just been dling peoples’ tracks and racing on them. there are some truly amazing tracks out there. just wish i knew how to use the track editor…
i need to hit the jackpot with one of my creations, so i can hit that 250k create xp mark and get mah trophy. might be time to start busting out with original creations
kmart got it on sale for 40 right now. i used a $20 coupon from the psn card deal last wk.

Does anybody use virgingaming to make real life money? For those who don’t know what it is, VG is a community where players can come together to win real life money when it comes to competitiveness. It has all kinds of games for xbox 360 / ps3, but it’s mostly sports games. Modnation racers is on it too. If ya think your good enough to win, try it out!

hell yeah, that’s another challenge down… I just got the 160,000 drift points on Espresso’s stage. Espresso’s cool “Aero” helmet is now mine legitimately!
*new pictures coming soon. I just made what is instantly one of my favorite kart creations of all time. It took quite a bit longer to make than my other karts since this required several letters + a certain logo.
*I also updated Psycho Ronald to look a bit more like the actual Ronald McDonald. I love this game so much…no other kart racer could possibly surpass it except the sequel, imo. My sick imagination can truly run wild here in the “creation studio”, and it happens to actually be fun to play as well.
i should be on later today. i’m still a noob though. got lazy and just downloaded the complete save. i just wanna race and dl other people’s shit.

Man, talk about having a bad damn day. Everything that could possibly go wrong was happening in each and every goddamn race I was in today…even questionable bullshit-ass shit like scraping a wall making me go from like 100 mph or whatever to a complete and INSTANT dead stop, or how I clearly turned left but my character chose to go right and jump over a wall to make sure and take himself out of the fucking race completely. Yeah, sure…that makes sense. The best I did today was a few lucky 2nd and 3rd place finishes.
Anyway…it’s time for the unveiling. Today…the Noid has arrived to the world of Modnation…complete with the Delivery Van Supreme!:
