SORRY for all the confusion guys. As to my entering league with Rashid, I honestly didn’t know if SRK was down to team up or not. Because I knew I had responded a few days after he’d asked and then a few more days went by where I didn’t hear anything back after confirming it. So, in an effort to secure a teammate I reached out to Rashid. Anyway, as I’m understanding it it’s me and Rashid at this point. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to do the tourney until day of. Can I be put down as an alternate in case of no shows?
I wanted to point out that anybody wanted their matches recorded, please let the recording guys know. So far I know only rice247, rugalbernstein aka mithos, and myself who can provide this.
You can invite me to a 3 person room, and I’ll be more than happy to record it for you guys. Please keep in mind that this is free service so don’t expect too much. Also, me and Rice are on the same team, so we may not be available at all times. And please don’t hold up the tournament if you’re waiting for us to record. If I get knocked out early, I’ll try to stay up to record the remaining matches. =)
Thanks DJM. I really appreciate it. I know I should have worked that out prior to the event since I’m the organizer. I’ve been swamped during the week with work and last minute grad school nonsense–I haven’t even thought to look into the resources that you mentioned for recording. If I’m not mistaken, I believe that Engravings is recording matches as well.
I think all the people recording have Youtube accounts so it would be great if the videos had some sort of easily identifiable universal titles for easy searches. For example (May 13 2 vs 2 Team Tournament: Team X vs Team Y)…does that make sense?
I’ll look into that recording equipment now so that this issue is less of a factor if/when I host another.

Sure, ZKD. I’m sure that someone would love to have a kick ass Fei Long instead of forfeiting or going at it alone…unless that someone is mad possum. It’s a well known fact that Honda has hated Fei ever since Fei slept with his girlfriend back in '94. Now fat boy goes out of his way to return the favor by screwing Fei every chance that he gets.
Kao- I haven’t confirmed with Skeelo yet since I’m waiting for a response from a friend first. (Hence my post) However, put us down as tentative at the moment though.
Supposedly Coth_X has the capacity to record with low quality off his laptop cam. 
I will do my absolute best to make it. We close at 8pm, but we might have to stay alittle later, but I will do my best to make 8:30.
I’ve got a DVD recorder, so I can directly record, but only at 480i.
I sold my Hauppauge to fuax a few months ago so I won’t be recording. I am trying to get a blackmagic card for my macpro but that doesn’t look like it is going to any time soon

Hey SRK_BOXER, I’m thinking of particpating. We’re due for a team pairing - recall we were supposed to be teamed up for blitzfu’s tournament but he mysteriously disappeared a day or two before it happened.

Hey guys, I’m down to volunteer my recording services. I have an HD camcorder and HDTV so, I can usually get good quality. Lemme know if you want me to record matches. I’ll at least capture my matchups and then, should the fates see fit to spatch me early from the competition, I’ll obviously be available to record whichever matches come after.
As long as it doesn’t intervene with your real life stuff bro, don’t worry about it.
