Hey, I’m going to ask what I assume is a super dumb question. Is it possible to have different models on the same costume set? So, for example, having normal Makoto Default 1 on Default 1, Mirror’s Edge Makoto on Default 2-4, Shirt Open Makoto on Default 5, etc? I’m so spoiled thanks to Brawl’s texture hacks being far easier to implement.

(speaking of which hi Dant have you figured out how to get rid of Ivysaur’s fire weakness yet? Minus would love to get rid of that)

If you’ve purchased the DLC costumes, you’ll have 4 ā€œslotsā€ for models (obj.emo), either the originals from Capcom or community-created mods. For each of these slots, you get 10 colors (col.emb), which just change the textures and not the models (aka ā€˜skins’).

You can mix and match col.emb files as long as they all use the same model.

Does that make sense?

Update on a couple of my tools:

EMGSWAP didn’t properly recalculate offsets of object names in the EMO file. It may have caused some swaps to result in game crashes. Here’s the fix:

I have a request. I want to set a button on my pad with 2 references. For example: now my ā€œXā€ button is ā€œPunch x3ā€. If i want i can switch it to ā€œKick x3ā€ in the option menu. I want my ā€œXā€ button as ā€œPunch x3 + Kick x3ā€. In other words, i want to set ā€œPunch x3ā€ and ā€œKick x3ā€ to the same button.
Any Idea?

All right, that answered my question, and makes sense. Guess I’ll have to be meticulous with my options.

go to:

C:\Program Files (x86)\CAPCOM\Super Street Fighter IV\resource\ui\chara_select\chara

and open sel_IBK.tex.emz in piecemontee’s asset explorer and extract the dds file.

you can can open it in paint.net and save it as what ever format you want or convert it with dds converter 2.1

any tutorials because these programs aren’t self explanatory

and could someone found out what file or action or w/e makes Oni’s pants and belt float?

Can someone please explain to me how to merge the UC1 and UC2 into the main ema file? please, I also do not understand how to update the animation references to point to the main ema file instead of the uc1 and uc2 files, Should I use some program for all or ?

I don’t think a single program will do all of that, but you should be able to do it all with a combination of Dantarion’s tools. IIRC, the moves are stored in one file and the animations are stored in another (bac/bcm, I can’t remember which is which).

Sloth86 made a couple of posts that explain the rough terminology, but there aren’t any tutorials at the moment. I haven’t even used his tools, but if I find the time to figure them out, I’ll write something up.

I don’t think there’s a particular file or anything that makes his clothes float. I believe it’s just a bone/physics thing. That said, have you tried replacing any of his other costumes to see if they behave any better?

Ono! can do that. Open Oni’s .bcm file and then select ā€œHitbox Tableā€ on the options.

hunterk Thank you very much !!!:pray: This program is great, as far as I am able to see I found something more interesting that this program can do, this program may enable use of both ultra combo 1 and ultra combo 2 in one fight, not just one of the two ultra! Can someone please explain to me how to do it, I tried in [FONT=Helvetica]BCM ,[FONT=arial]moves,UC01start to rename restriction the ULTRA in NONE, but the result is that UC1 operating normally, but the game crash when I do UC2 !? click the script button and the place to relocate which animation file is used for what move is there. ive tested it out and the game doesnt crash when both ultras are performed, however the animation is not there.

i have yet to still figure out how to merge the animation files. that is the last step i need to accomplish this task.

on a side note, i put chunlis ultra 2 to use the first ultra animation. tried it in battle and she engulfed herself in her kikoushou while going through her ultra one animation. it looked cool and all, but not really want i wanted. really need to figure out how to merge the animation files.

sorry, im not exactly sure about that, but you could just add all the layers in an image editing program and save it as one file afterwards

I have the same issue as well. I can’t seem to figure out how to merge the animation files myself, but just a question:

By looking at that screen shot, can you hit the ā€œAdd Newā€ tab and just add the animation number that the first Ultra uses, and select the type as UC2? I’m still messing with this myself, any advice?

it would not work, the actual animation would still be located in the first ultra which would not be loaded if the second ultra is selected. if you would select the second ultra, you would still be able to perform both ultras, but the first ultras animation will not be right. and if the computer were to select the first ultra, then it would crash despite what ultra he would use.

however, if instead of combining the animation files. if it were possible to find what file loads the ultras when there selected, and simply change it to load both ultra files no matter what. then it would make things a lot easier, by just having to remove the ultra restrictions and no combining. but i dont know anything about this stuff, so if anyone does, any help on it would be appreciated.

BAC is for animation! I wanted to first and second animation Ultra Combo remain unchanged, hosenka UC1 and UC2 kikosho, all I want is that when in the start menu,choose the player (such as Chun-Li) choose an ultra combo (hosenka), that I have a choice, that I can use hosenka, which in normal circumstances can, or to use kikosho ultra combo that is UC2 and in normal circumstances it is impossible to do when hosenka is previously selected in start menu before the fight ! the only drawback for the game SSF4 AE is in my opinion that you are able to do only one of two Ultra Combo during combat. Is there a solution to this with the ono program ?
