Modding SSF4AE for PC (NO DLC UNLOCKS!)

Does anyone know if its possible to mod the game so that each character can use both there ultras at once instead of being selectable.

also, i think i found the effect file for colour 12, and i wondering if someone knows where the effects in the graphic settings files are. want to see if it can switch them so that all 10 colours will have the cross hatching

and one last thing. when i export an emg that has multiple pieces in it to an obj file, then open it in maya and export back into the asset explorer, says that triangles eddition is not allowed. it only does this to the emg with multiple pieces in it. also if i delete all the pieces except the first one, i can manage to import it in, but all the ones after still wont. does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Yes but it requires editing of the .bac and animation files.

Edit: I manged to remove the ultra restriction, but the game crashes when i do the ultra opposite of the one i selected

Because the animations aren’t loaded for it.

That is also a feature I would like added. If i may ask Dantarion, how would one go about loading the animation and keeping them from being restricted to only being selectable? I am still tinkering around with some of the options myself.

Hey Seijuro475, where did you find the option to make the ultras unrestricted? was it in the BCM, or the BAC portion of “Ono’s” program?

You would have to merge the uc1 and uc2 files into the main ema file, and then update the animation references to point to the main ema file instead of the uc1 and uc2 files.

just hit the moves button under BCM. then go to the 2 ultra combos in the list. on the right, there should be an option that says restriction. the ultra combos will have the word ULTRA in it. just delete that word and replace it with NONE if there isnt another restriction for the move.

Is the only way to do that by hex editing? or is there an easier way?

Is there not a program to manage animations?

Quick question Dantarion, when you say merge UC1 into UC2, do you mean coding wise using “Ono’s” BAC (scripts), or a program that allows drag and drop of the two files together? And when you say the Main EMA. Do you mean object .ema? I dont see a file that says Main ema. The only ones I see are:
cam.ema = Camera
dm1.ema = Damage I assume
uc1.ema = Ultra combo 1
uc2.ema = Ultra combo 2
fce.ema = Face I assume
obj.ema = Object I assume

hey i have one question is it possible to make an endless mode in the game, i mean make the arcade mode endless or at less fight agains all players always getting harder.

is it possible? if thats the case, can someone give me a clue or tell how to do it please :slight_smile:

I’m almost certain that this would be much, much (much!) harder to do than any of the reverse engineering that has been done so far. Harder as in “practically impossible”.

so for now it is practically impossible, but maybe, maybe someone will do it and i hope so :slight_smile: i’ll just have to wait :D, one more thing is there a BOSS mode for all players or just 4? i’m asking this because in the player vs cpu mode, some players(cpu) are really predictable

We can make the CPU better.

To figure out how to make a hitbox launch an enemy, look at a shoryuken or any move that leaves the opponent in a juggleable state.
obj.ema is the main animation file. dm1 and dm2 are for the rival intros in arcade.

I meant that my program, Ono! is always changing daily. The current development version has an emedded IronPython console, GFX and animation names!

I have tried looking up info on how to combine animation files or find a program that can open them up, but have found nothing. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Ah! damn i didn’t think to look at a dragon punch, to see how it launches!!!..(now I feel like a noob!) any advice on merging the files? Should I still use Ono’s for merging or another program?

Nice! Iron Python console, and Animation names! Can’t wait to see a public release of the new “Ono’s” I’m going to enjoy seeing the names of the animations and those neat colorized text!:tup:

I’m new here as well Roki, but I think I can give you a quick suggestion. Go to # 8 on this topic, and look towards the bottom. I think Sensibeat did the vega mask with Crimson Viper. Look over the topic, or try to get in touch with Sensibeat to accomplish the Vega mask on Ryu effect you are looking for
