I got the te 1 stick used as a present but its the ps3 version so it wont work on fightcade or pc unfortunately i use a lapop as well so i heard i cant switch out the usb port to make it work but im curious if there is away to change the cord or pbc to make it work for pc its a good stick and sucks that it just sits here collecting dust…
You have to swap out the PCB for something thats compatible, preferably Xinput compatible.
that shouldn’t be to hard of a task nor expensive right?
The Tech Talk forums filled to the brim for information, take the time to read the various threads
im dyslexic it is hard for me to process long tutorials unfortunately
Still 90% of the work is simple electrical. Can you attach a wire at point A to Point B.
And with most better boards you don’t even need a soldering Iron.
Get something like the PS360 Plus or the Brooks Universal Fight Board, both have screw terminals and both are labeled.
They both also have Xinput compatibility
If nothing else read Slagcoin.com at your leisure
i just hope i dont have go buy any tools and just have to use a few basic screw driver types i have the cases i want already so guess i just need to buy which buttons i want and stick
smaller screw driver is needed, maybe some wire strippers, wire crimpers unless you use pre-crip wire and maybe a multi-meter but the multimeter is used for testing and trouble shooting
You don’t need it for instillation
so i dont have to make a new thread im thinking about building a arcade cabnet and just installing fightcade or emulators on it is there any good sites guides to use im not sure if i should try to get a old arcade machine and gut it out which should be easier or try to build it all from scratch
Check THIS place out. It’s a treasure trove of info that you seek (as far as cabinet building is concerned).
