Hello Digital. I don’t know if you can solve this, but if I wanted Sagat to have Kens moves, I would replace the KEN_cmn.emz and a backup of the old CMN file. Unfortunately whenever I launch the game, and I select anyone, apart from Ken, they have their own moves and not Kens. Do you know why this is happening?
Yes but they have their own moves instead.
- Download/install any SF4 portraits except the SSF4 ones, since I’ve tried it and when the match starts it gave me an error.
- Install it into C:\Program Files\CAPCOM\STREETFIGHTERIV\Game\Menu/ENG for example.
- Paste it, launch Street Fighter IV and congratulations!! You now have the new portraits.
EDIT: OK just installed a Ryu.jpg file, but it didn’t work for me. Only .png files.

That shit controls the ultra animation. If the animation is shorter than the ultra freeze, you’ll be stuck in a standing animation, if it’s longer, it’ll end whenever the ultra is supposed to end.
I think all moves have this, so if you want to try to get decent hitbox placements for your moveswaps whatever, fool around near where that is.
past the repeating sections/hitbox sections is too far, so that should make locating it easier.
Another note: At the end of moves that absorb (Focus attacks, EX Habanero, Balrog’s EX dashes, etc etc) literally right before the next move starts, there’s a value that looks like this:
FFFF FF00 0000 xx00
where xx is a value, either 01 or 02. This controls how many hits the move absorbs. I was able to make habanero dash absorb all of ryu’s super fireballs with this. I haven’t been successful adding armor to moves that don’t already absorb, however. Probably requires more tinkering.

I have a question concerning Texture resolution on Playermodels.
Is it possible to hex edit the .col file to change the texture resolution of a texturemap from 512x512 to 1024x1024?
I´m currently working on Chun Li´s Alpha costume but the extensive reshaping of her chest messed up the already small uvmaps and I get jaggy und unclean lines.

my game ran a consistent 15fps before i down switched the settings

i’m working on import from ssf4 a character with his moveset.
Question: the moveset is in the cmn.emz file?
I’m backport succesful 5/7 of a cmn.emz file and get GUY ingame with is position, face, skeleton.
The only files that i can’t convert to sf4 pc for the GUY.cmn.emz of ssf4 is guy.bac and guy.bcm
Are those files the files containing moveset?
If yes, how i can convert those files?

Yeah, cmn.emz is the file making shit actually do stuff. Moves, pointers to animations, motions, hit effects, etc.
you need .bac and .bcm, so if you can’t convert that, it’s a no-go until someone figures out how.
