fuku means clothes (top layer clothes), sufuku, probably underclothes(shirt),
the skirt is refered to as skirt.
for chun li, ring actually refers to the rings around her wrist, the actual leg curtains would be “clothesline” or “cloth”, maybe both…
still trying to pinpoint what exactly makes the transparency but still no luck
There are also some other files too that go alone with this like for example:
(“BackFace” in text) which makes the the back (reverse) side the same
i.e. if “BackFace” wasnt present then the reverse side would only see black(fully transparent)
(same as alphablend but should be used for torn/ripped clothing and can be used to hide objects also)
also, the safest hex (so far) to replace would be any of the *BrushX (sometimes @BrushB, ?BrushC, etc)
You guys are doing a great job at making sf4 an even more fun expererience.
Thanks to you, I have custom skins, and some custom music.
Now, yesterday I tried to exchange the versus select screen music with my own, but didn’t really know, which file I had to change,
so I guessed SELVS_SE which is obviously wrong, and then tried all the others.
All I got was a mess of sound, because I had mixed everything up somehow.
I did make backups, but when trying to rename the backups to their original names, I must have confused some files.
So what I’m asking is, could anyone upload his /game/sound folder ?
I would really appreciate it. So thanks in advance.
I want to remove both the Shirt and Skirt from Sakura. But she has only one eyefar. What am I supposed to do to have two translucent or removed parts on her?
Some preview of Sakura with messed shirts:
Ah, just some correction here. Its SuKAFU, and not Sufuku as I said.
Yeah, I know that it disappears when you set her Obi’s state to 00, but I cannot apply alpha layer attributes to her sleeves when I try to add it to Obi for some reason. I will work with it some more
actually, her sleeves are separate. its called sodekubi (sleeve neck)
you can remove it with transparancy…
edit sorry, only the sleeve of the puff are separate, not the sleve itself
edit2 found it, it would be “wear”
The col file is structure so that everything is under everything.
example: everthing under Obi is apart of it (until the capital letter next object, for this: Skin_hand)
Obi (note the O and not o) the main part of her top
wear (sleeve)
sodekubi (sleve neck)
eye (unknown)
Skin_hand
Skin_arm
Hey, thanks for this great program. I’ve been wanting to play with swapped movesets but I was too lazy to edit the files. Now it’s so simple and I’m having so much fun! :wgrin:
That’s only when you’re doing it wrong
I don’t use PS for SF4 anymore, but I used to by going to TGA and then convert to DDS with NVIDIA Tools (there’s no DDS plugin for my x64 CS4).
Now I’m also on The Gimp boat, which is pretty damn good.
The DDS plugin is also kickass.
I’m just missing one important feature, editing the Alpha channel directly.
It’s pretty annoying to do Color Decompose/Compose all the time, isn’t there another way?
I’m new to the forums and just registered because I was getting into modding my own SF4. Here’s my first small mod to Ken and let me know if anyone would like it. I followed this tutorial and it helped me greatly.
