Modding problems resulting in signals being stuck

Hi all, as of late ive done some dual mods and have noticed that one or two of them sometimes have a signal stuck afterwards.

Ive done the usual continuity checks and have ensured that there is nothing physically connecting the signal and ground.

One example would be the “right” signal of a PS3 being stuck. Ive checked the voltage and its always 0 while the other signals are ~3.25V (is this number correct?) i havent come across this issue in the past but have recently seen this.

One of the changes ive made is that ive started to use 28awg ribbon cable wire, but i dont necessairily think that would be the problem seeing as when i clip the wire from the signal, its still grounded .

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Edit: just recalled that i use liquid flux while soldering. Would this cause such problems? I.e flux is conductive even when dry.
