Dammit, the quick disconnect won’t crimp. Unless I’m super weak, I can’t crush it. Is there something I should be doing specifically? At this point I’m gonna see if I can rip off the red part and crimp it.
So I ripped off the red part and am now here. I crushed top and the wire feels pretty stable. I think I can still pull it out if I used enough force, but it isn’t super loose.

Is this right? Or did I mess up?
I just wanna make sure I’m doing this correctly. I crimped the quick disconnect with the wire in it and here is a close-up. The circled area is the end of the wire.

You are supposed to crush the barrel.
How do you know if they’re crushed? I crushed it as much as possible, the wire doesn’t come out. Would it still work since I ripped off the red part and just crushed the metal around the wire?
Or did I mess up because I ripped the red part off?
Still works.
The red is just insulation.
So I got to this point, quick disconnects installed and wires attached. I soldered the X button back on but it doesn’t work still. After this, I feel like giving up. I need someone to do this for me.

Is there something I might have done wrong?
From what I can see, everything looks right.
Did you know I am close to Tustin?
I’m in Westminster.
Seriously? You seem to know what to do about modding sticks, do you mind helping me out? I guess we should probably bring this to PMs.
