i have two 29" TVs lying around that i never use because they only accept composite input. and i absolutely HATE composite input. i was thinking that TVs probably split composite into RGB anyway, so is it possible to find the RGB lines and just give it 15khz sync through an LM1881 circuit? (or will i even need to do that?)
You might not even need the sync splitter.
I’d say open the TV up and take a look KEEP IN MIND THAT THE TUBE HOLDS A CHARGE THAT CAN AND WILL KILL YOU IF YOU MESS WITH IT. BE CAREFUL.
With that in mind, if you don’t die, you might find a board or something labeled “RGB” or something.
i’m sure there’s a way to discharge the TV…
Or just don’t touch the soda can’s…
I think there’s no way to discharge TV
There’s a way to do it, but if you don’t know how, don’t
look at what i found!

edit2:
i don’t like to double post.
it works, but the picture is WAY too dim. i’ll see if the amplifier i used for my arcade cabs works well on the TV tomorrow.
