Modding a Saturn Pad for 360 or PS2

I know this thread is some what old, but i am in need of a controller for my xbox360. slim720 posted a posted some pic’s of his mod (page4 of thread) that he had made and if possible, I would like a similar mod. I would be willing to pay just let me know or you could even sell me what you have and I am willing to take it. I have potential skill in the game but because I lose for missing attacks is just messed up and it comes from not having the right controller. Please anyone help me out, call, text (217-637-9790) or hit me up on aim (decoyoctopuss113) so that we can discuss pricing, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance, Ricardo aka raven113.

hello,
i was wondering if you can do this mod on a USB saturn controller since they are much easier to find than a regular saturn controller
in my case
i would appreciate any info, THANKS!

I find that a Saturn->Playstation converter connected to a Playstation->360 converter works well with no lag. Well, it depends on the quality of the PS->360 converter but the newer ones are lag free.

I did a few tests to confirm this. For example, have two players facing each other in SF2 on the 360. One has a wireless pad, the other has a Saturn pad connected as described. Use a ruler to press the punch buttons on both pads at exactly the same time. Every time both characters move at the same time. With a weak punch if one was even one frame faster they would hit first.

What that proves is that the Saturn pad is at least as fast as a wireless pad. I have not tested against a wired pad but I imagine the results would be similar. I stuck a logic analyser on both the wireless pad and the converter and the response times are the same. There is a delay between the 360 asking for data from the pad and it responding which is presumably down to the pad reading it’s ADCs etc. During that time the converter reads the Saturn pad so both the point at which the pad is read and the time taken to respond are the same in both set-ups.

NECRO BUMP Can you tell me about your Saturn --> to Playstation adapter ? Is it the Keio? If so I’m not sure how to burn the chip with a tl866.
