Same, I was despairing with Juri a while ago, but by dusting off my old main Chun-Li, I’ve now found new taste for Juris game, she’s definitely still my main! :rock:
I also had a lot of fun trolling with Ken in ranked (“Whatcha gonna do when the round begins? - SHORYUKEN!” :badboy:), although it was sad that I could win with Ken the first time I played him much more reliably than I’ve managed with Juri, even though my gameplay was practically the epitome of flowchart ken :wtf: (meh, some throw mixups and a little blocking thrown in the mix of course)
I keep swapping back and forth between Juri and Cammy (old main) and I’ll try to do Juri moves while I’m playing Cammy. Gah. Cammy doesn’t have a pinwheel D:
I almost miss that wakeup cannon spike when I play Juri, but the good outweighs the bad. Plus Juri accomodates multiple playstyles far better than Cammy, and I like to switch my game up mid-fight.

This B rank is killing me, got to 5000 quite easily once i figured out what i was doing, but now i get +1 for the usual win and a catastrophic amount when i lose. I understand the point of it, but when your a character with near impossible matchups (blanka-honda-guile) the result of this can be terrifying.
I’m with you. Cammy was my main before, though I was never fully comfortable with her. Honestly, until Juri, no character ever felt quite “right” for me.
Now when I play Cammy I’m constantly doing the dumbest stuff because I really want to be playing Juri.
umm ur serching for matches wrong then. you only gain +1 bp if the person you play is using a char with bp less than 1000(sometimes not ur fault and ppl just use a new char). also if you get to 2500bp your going to down rank to C+. i dont know your pp but you should be searching for same skilled or more skilled to play ppl at the same skill lv/point lv as you and if you are then you are losing the correct points.
tourney mode isnt the new champ mode, tourney mode is a 8 man single elim mode and the winner gets the same thing as when your team wins team battle. ranked mode with pp/bp is the new champ mode, minus champ mode being super easy to grind out any rank
yea that happens to me too. i use chun as my main, but i have interest in jur now as a replacement. but i will always have chun in my arsenal so i wont forget who got me to where i am in street fighter.
Sorry if this is old news, but somebody on another forum found out Juri’s medium and high fireballs lift her off the ground. Tested it out in training mode and they can be used to beat out throw attempts. Might be useful, might not be, but it’s something I never knew haha.
Seeing how this is a Q&A thread along with the fact that Im a nubcake to these forumns, (not forums in general), I was hoping one of you lovely people could give me some advice.
One of Juri’s trials that combo’s into her Fuharenjin is tripping me up. I plan to use this in my matches and it eludes me still. It is a Cr. HP - Senpusha- Fuharenjin combo. I can land the Cr. HP and Senpusha but Im still having a hard time with connecting the Fuharenjin, I try to cancel the Senpusha but that doesn’t work. Can anyone help me? I’ve looked at many Juri trial videos and such but…they just assume I know how to cancel it. I don’t know what Im doing wrong.
