I personally approve of this choice. Her angry parts contained a preservation of character that other auditions, including many of the best honorable mentions, lacked. Plus, she demonstrated that she can make fine adjustments to her lines, which is a plus if the devteam wants to make fine adjustments.
But good Lord, there is a metric ton of PJSalt in the comments thread.
Though I liked Emily Fajardo’s audition more, it’s good to see a new member to the cast then getting the same voice actors to do another character’s voice. Lily is pretty good and like you said she will make adjustments to sounding the best she can for Fluttershy. Now I can’t wait to see more gameplay/themes to show up this summer, defiantly for Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash
