Anyways, I’m not gonna lie, if I had to choice between the MLP fighter or Skullgirls, of course I’d pick skulls girls and I could care less about the MLP franchise.
Skull girls looks so COOL! Awesome art, fresh mechanics, interesting characters… and it gets diagnosed with Blazblue Syndrome. As high of hopes as I have for it, I get the feeling that 80% of players are going gravitate to the Sol/Ryu/Kyo’s and no one is going to take the time execute Parasoul’s soldier summon just so they can cancel out of it to get the frame advantage while they eat a string of rekkas or a DP for their trouble. Maybe I’m off base, but a great as Skullgirls looks, I don’t think the mechanics are approachable enough for have wide spread appeal. Neither is FiM, for that matter, but that’s because of the source material, not the mechanics. I’ll be eager to see how both do. To be honest, I probably need to do some more SG research.

I like it, but I think it gets even farther away from the setting. Perhaps if Carousel was in a dystopian cyberpunk Paris…
I’m going to say nurture over nature in this case (they aren’t usually smart enough, they mimic what they see in most cases). But in the business world, it is a CYA move by Hasbro.
I honestly want nothing to do with Skullgirls.
I find anime games to be rather grating to play, and I mean anime as a gameplay mechanic, not as a visual style. Vanguard Princess looks nothing like an anime game to me, despite the art direction coming straight off the pages of your favorite manga.
This game looks fairly anime, but because of candy colored miniature horses, I’ll suck it up and give it a whirl.

There’s only one character with an air dash, outside of that Skullgirls doesn’t really play like AIRDASHERS ANONYMUS.

I’m not kidding man. This game looks legit. Skullgirls might beat it, but I could see these two going at it. But I will say P4U is something Skullgirls should worry about.
I want a mixture of grappler that has a nasty high low mix up game. I would like her to play like Talim in Sc2.
rainbow dash should be Magneto and Magneto should be rainbow dash
As brutally difficult as it would be for me to wrap my head around a character with that kind of mobility, that’s exactly the kind of fighter I picture Dash to be.
Trijumping high low nonsense is exactly what I’ve envisioned from Rainbow Dash from the beginning. Probably will have low damage output to compensate. Doubt we’ll have any loops to abuse however.

So I haven’t been on SRK in quite a while, when did we get ponies in here? Not that I’m complaining mind you.

This has never happened to me. I now question my sexuality.
Ever time before I watch an episode, I normally get high, but my dream was awesome. Since I don’t keep up with episode updates and stuff, the last one took me by surprised. It was an episode were Trixie made an appearances, and she was successful in her magic talents outside of Ponyville! Looking back, she decided to visit the place she was called out and decided to make a visit to Twilight to spread the good news and thank her from the last visit.
Visiting Ponyville once again, Trixie confronted Twilight, yet her emotions changed from excitement and quickly into anger. Trixie’s jealously forced her to challenge Twilight to a battle of wits in knowledge of magic, and how it can used in battle!
Then I woke up, visit a psychiatrists, and found out I have some sort of sexual depression. Due to lack of sex in months, I’ve gained a type of stigma that makes me sexually distress and watching ponies is the only remedy known at the moment for this cause.
GUYS, I HAVE BRAIN PROBLEMS!!! 
But yeah, don’t mind me. Just wanted to share this on the internet with you guys because I love everyone…

Well I was talking with some people on PSN about this game, they were defending SKxT while I was supported skullgirls and MLP FiM.
My arguments went like this
- gameplay matters most in a fighter
- It’ll be better than half the games at EVO
- Mr.Wizard takes interest in the game
Each time I made a point they’d respond with “But it’s My Little Pony”
