Season 2 has so much Rarity, and I am enjoying it.
Boy oh boy is season 2 disappointing. But I liked this episode too.

What. It’s only had like one bad ep (Mare Do Well).
It’s been a fantastic season.
Predictability, poor pacing, and a lack of adventure. I could list off my grievances episode by episode but I’d rather not do it here.
Well, I have no intention to argue. I’ll just be glad I still enjoy S2 as much as S1. I like slice of life over adventure, and S1 certainly had it’s ups and downs as well. Maybe more so.
I’ll admit that Cutie Pox dragged on a bit, tho.

Nothing that interesting, just about Pinkies voice again.
It’s not the fact it has slice of life that bothers me. It’s that none of the episodes have any of the adventure (minus the first 2 discord eps) that season 1 had. Episodes like Dragonshy, Owls well that ends well, etc all had adventure and new antagonists. We’re nearly halfway done with season 2, and we’ve had nearly no adventure.
Well, it is true that there hasn’t really been any antagonists except Discord. Hadn’t really noticed it until now, actually! :amazed:
If you like that then I can see how season 2 would be lacking.
I can take or leave those one-shot baddies, but I think it would be really nice if one of the former antagonists with personality (Trixie, Gilda, Discord) would return and be developed some more, like with Luna.
(Edit: Well, there was one more new antagonist… The new writer who did Mare Do Well!)
Mare Do Well is the weakest of season 2. But I’m really enjoying season 2 overall

I’m enjoying season 2 as well. I personally enjoy the slice of life episodes a lot more so the current season has been great for me.
I wouldn’t mind seeing more adventure-like episodes thrown in here and there, but in no way am I upset with where we are now.
Sounds like someone is growing some balls and starting to become a man. Stopping yourself from watching shows for little girls is differently the first step.
Otherwise, why are they being so vague on the game’s updates?

And on the discussion of Season 2, I agree that it’s awful so far.
