So Twilight has a move that makes her read the book, and that increases her magic by 1 to a maximum of 3, correct? Sounds sweet, can’t wait to see what the others have.
I like traps and zoners, so Twilight seems great. Did we see any teleport in the gameplay movies so far? I can’t remember, but I mean she’s gotta have one. It’s like her most used spell.
Applejack could have an apple meter. Let me tell you, that pony sure does love apples.

Well, I rewatched some footage from the livestream and saw it. Somehow, it looks a bit like a super fast dash because there’s no special effects on the recovery, and she doesn’t turn around instantly even though she switches side heh
I’m probably gonna bring this to EVO one way or another. I’m sure a few others will as well just in case I can’t make it.
However, if they do another community vote for a new game like they did with Melty Blood, we know what we must do.
They updated their blog with info on the ‘magic’ mechanic. They say it’ll be blaze blue-ish but their example with Twilight Sparkle is pretty straight forward.
My theoretical vote goes for SkullGirls and MBAACC 1st, sorry.
